I’ve been feeding my 14-year-old Shih Tzu the Solid Gold Small Breed Dry Dog Food for a few months now, and I’ve noticed such a positive difference! He’s always been a bit picky, but he absolutely loves this lamb recipe. The small kibble size is easy for him to chew, and I love that it’s grain and gluten free—perfect for his sensitive stomach.His digestion has improved significantly, and he has more energy during walks. I also appreciate the high fiber content and added probiotics; it’s made a noticeable difference in his overall well-being. At his age, it’s hard to find a food that checks all the boxes, but this one really delivers. Highly recommend for other small senior dogs!

I have a five pound chihuahua who is missing a few teeth. The kibbles are tiny little hearts which is great for small sized dogs. It's not soft food, but it's also not like the super hard crunchy kibbles that are usually sold in grocery stores. My boy is very picky and this is one of only two types of kibble he will eat. The bigger sized pieces break in half fairly easy. The food stays fresh and doesn't get stale as long as it's stored properly. It is expensive though. One bag barely lasts my dog a month. The bag is much bigger than what's in it.

I’ve had this before, and maybe I thought it was too expensive but now after trying IAMS and the Bllue brand I see he actually eats this up. I have a Shitzu and he is really enjoying it… I even had to keep and eye on our cat Kirby… he likes it too! lolIt didn’t upset his stomach since switching so that was a plus! He’s 3 years old.

Solid Gold was recommended to us when our golden retriever, Rusty, came to live with us 9 years ago. Now we feed it to his brother, Chucky. We've given them Wolf King and the weight control variety and they've loved both. There have been NO skin issues and we're blessed with happy, healthy dogs.

I’ve noticed my dogs coat is shinier. His mobility has improved. He was usually slow getting up from naps or getting up and down stairs. He’s moving a bit faster now. I tend to split his kibble with a meat, veggies and rice mix. The bag lasts me the whole month this way so the price is worth it to me. The cost is

My two little dogs prefer this to any other dry dog food I’ve tried. One refuses to eat any other brand! My dogs have glossy coats and are in excellent health largely due to their healthy diet, according to our vet.

My dogs have been on this food for more than 5 years. It was the first dry dog food that both of them would actually eat, and overall, I love it. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because a while ago, they added large dark pieces that my dogs refuse to eat. It’s really sad, especially since one of my dogs is completely blind and has learned to pick out the dark pieces. I really wish they had kept the original recipe without adding these pieces because it was truly an amazing dog food for my dogs. Now, I'm stuck — this is the only dry food they’ve ever liked, but every day, I'm cleaning up the pieces they won’t eat.
