Handa-kun: The Complete Series [Blu-ray]

This prequel to Barakamon shows the life of Handa-Kun in high school. It focuses on how he views things versus how others view things, including his view of himself. The story has humor and great characters. This is an anime I can watch over and over.

So first off, this is a prequel. You don't have to have watched the original anime first to watch this one. I watched this one first and actually enjoyed it more. It was hilarious and had so many moments that were not at all what I was expecting and made me laugh till I was crying. You can watch this first, second, or just this one and not the other. They feel like stand alone anime and only had a few call outs to the other series that didn't feel like I was missing anything.

We watch Handa-Kun and Barakamon and loved them both. Great characters and good story line.

This show is fantastic. I'm a fan of slice of life anime, but sometimes they're more serious or light. Handa-kun is more gender neutral. It's hilarious and light hearted. Both my husband and I enjoyed it.

The artwork and voice actor did a good job. The story was a bite weak. I think it could have done better.

Fun and wholesome. Good for an esey laugh.

It arrived fast and no damage. The digital code allows me to watch it online too. Handa-Kun is a very funny series of an unknowingly popular yet awkward high-school boy adventures. So good.

I love It, barakamon is a great slice of life anime, a sequel would have been great but this prequel is just as fine!
