This was a birthday gift but I'm sure it will be liked.

I have been looking for a shower gel to use after working out or a run, that was effective. Boots used to have a great one but nothing has matched up to that since it was discontinued. However, this came up as a recommended and I am impressed. Firstly it smells great, refreshing but also comforting. I start the shower and let it run until it is warm. Then I get my skin warm and massage in some of the gel to the most sore parts. I then leave it on the skin for a minute or 2. After completing a hair wash I massage the areas where the sore parts are as I wash the gel off. I certainly feel some relief in the pain and I sleep really well, which is always an issue with a late workout/run. I certainly feel looser the next day and a fair bet less achy than in the past.

I did some exercise yesterday followed by a busy and strenuous yoga class. When I got home, I use some of the shower gel.The gel comes in a soft plastic sachet container with a thin carabiner hook to hang it up, should you wish. It has a very pleasant scent what is difficult to pin down exactly what that smell is, the ingredients list doesn’t help much but there is definitely some citrus in there.I wouldn’t say the smell is particularly Masculine but if you were to consider only two types of aroma, male and female, it’s definitely not a flowery feminine side.I Haven’t woken up with any dry skin or itchy patches, listen ingredients does include amongst other oils, olive oil.I have some concerns about the cap on this sachet and whether I would comfortably chat this in the gym bag. I have no further care was just gonna pop open and the contents spill out, it hasn’t happened to me. I’m not sure I would be comfortable putting this in a sports bag unless it was in the side pocket. It’s not that the Pops open easily, there isn’t actually much of an overhang on it to open it easily, I would just be concerned if it got squashed, the pressure might force the cap open.Overall, it’s a nice product, it’s smells nice, it foams up well in the shower but the price a little high in my opinion.

Lovely smell and great for muscle recovery after running

Not sure how much it assists my recovery after a workout, but the packaging is cool and the scent is pleasant.

The smell is pleasant and opens the nose as well. Like the packaging with a plastic clip do you can hook it out of the way as well. Looks great with the packaging! Really pleased and a great post workout shower!!

Very strong smelling post wirkout recovery body wash. Smells lovely but cant describe the smell, not sure how much it has help relax my muscles, tried working into sore muscles and leaving on but didnt seem to relieve any aching. £10.99 is too much for 500ml so currently only 3 stars.

You don't need much of this shower gel, it lathers up well, so is economical to use, even though it is quite expensive. It probably won't work out dearer than a cheap one from the pound shop that you need to use half a bottle in order to get any lather.I found it gentle on my skin and non-drying. I think if I was in a rush in the morning, I could get away without using a moisturiser on top as my skin feels comfortable. I'm used to using the dove one in the burgundy bottle and so far my skin still feels nourished and soft.I could hardly detect any aroma from this shower gel, it was very light, so it won't interfere with any perfume you might want to wear with it.I like that this one contains magnesium and has been specifically developed for after a workout. I have used an arnica shower gel in the past and found that to be useful. I have used a magnesium spray at night for night time cramps in my feet and that works well, as long as I remember to do it. I'm not going to forget to use shower gel in the shower, so this is a really good idea, I think.The initial outlay is quite high, but it works out cheaper to buy the multi pack, rather than purchase it singularly, and it will last for a long time. I've never really paid attention to how long my shower gel last, or everyone else's for that matter, but it's not like we're buying it every week and we all 3 of us use different products. It would be great if we all use this and I can save space in my bathroom. The little carabiner hooks mean that I can hang the spare ones on a rail ready for when needed, as well as hang it on a hook so it's not taking up space on the shelf.
