Does the job. One thing to note: the 0.3m is just long enough to connect uplink ports on adjacent 1U switches, assuming they're not too far apart horizontally. In the attached photo, it's connecting port 28 in the upper switch to port 10 in the lower switch. I thought there'd be a little more slack because I missed the fine print: "Note that this length includes two connectors." That's a weird way to measure it given that the connectors recess into the switches.

Works perfectly with my Grandstream switches and routers to connect them together. Don't have anything but Grandstream gear, so can't speak for compatibility with any other brands.

Edited: I had an issue using these cables (see below). After posted the review about them, I was contacted by the manufacturer, and offered a refund, as well as an apology and some suggestions for testing and/or returning the items. Customer service was great. It was suggested that I could use one cable at a time to see if the issue was the result of one cable or a combination of them. Customer service was so nice, I figured I'd go ahead and do the testing. Heck, I liked the short DAC cables, so if only one was bad, I'd prefer to just replace that. Well, after a bunch of testing, I could not reproduce the issue I was getting in the first place. I'm not sure if a change in my network made the issue go away, but I'm now using the three cables I bought, and they're working great. I am grateful that customer service was so polite and patient with me. Previous review: I had three of the 0.3m 10G DAC cables in my network. I had one connecting my UDM-Pro (router) to a USW-Pro-Aggregation switch, and two (in aggregation) connecting the USW-Pro-Aggregation to a USW-Enterprise-24-PoE switch. With these cables, the connection speed was incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes I'd get line speeds, but the upload speed from a device on the PoE switch to the internet (2gig symmetrical fiber) would regularly drop to as low as 35 Mbit/s. Took me forever to figure out what was causing it, but when I swapped out these three cables for Ubiquiti branded ones, problem solved. I only caught this issue because I setup a VM to monitor my internet speed by recording internet speedtest results every 15 minutes or so. I've had ISP problems in the past, so I do this out of habit.

Works fine with Meraki switches but I needed it for Ubiquiti aggregation to access and it refuses to link at 10gig. It'll link fine 1GBPS but of you try to force 10gig the link just straight up drops altogether. Probably just going to buy the ubiquiti one and use this elsewhere with another brand but figured I'd post for others to be awareof. Build quality is outstanding, sad I won't get to use it in the install it was intended for.
