Installed it and worked right away. I took it test driving and all was well, took my kid to school and still good, went to pick her up and it failed while I was waiting. I had to sit in a hot car I'm Texas for an hour cause the Chevy Malibu uses the sensor to send a signal to the computer that it's safe to use the AC. So as soon as it failed my AC stopped again. Waste of money.
