I love these and makes me feel extra safe when walking my dogs. Very comfortable and feel well made. They’re soft but strong.

Had an emergency situation today had the strap round my wrist. Another dog came in my puppy my puppy race towards the other dog I was left with The Arm strap , On and the catch snapped!!! so tell me what is the safety element here none and also if you rely on that and your dog breaks free, I hate to think what could’ve happened. If we’ve been near a main road. I am really annoyed cheap rubbish shame on the creators production team of this false product!

The strap that goes around your wrist is pretty strong. The real issue with these are the round clips that you tether to the lead. They are so flimsy.All it takes is a small yank and the lead breaks free. My dog nearly escaped after a few days use and I managed to lose the clip. You get a spare one but frankly they're useless.Avoid these if you want to keep your dog safe.

When my previous safety strap broke, I looked to see if such a product was available and found this one. It looked good so I bought it as I don't like taking my dog out without a safety strap. I have to say that it is an excellent product. The only drawback (and I am growing accustomed to it) is that the strap is quite a bit wider than my previous one. I should mention that my extending lead is the FLEXI Classic Compact 1 version and my dog is a mini wire-haired dachshund!

We bought a new retractable lead for our whippet puppy but, being a bit on the chunky side, it kept jerking out of our hands, bouncing along the ground after a petrified puppy. This wrist strap seemed to be the answer. It’s comfortable to wear and very sturdy. It clips on to the handle of the retractable lead and came with a spare clip which is just as well because the clip keeps coming undone for no apparent reason. We’ve super glued it shut for now, but will probably need that spare clip if we ever have to take it off as we shall need to cut through it.

Great idea but the clips are not very good. I have had two break in the last week.So I’ve had to buy some heavy duty clips

Comfortable and comforting. It's not impossible to be caught unawares when using an "extendilead" and to lose your grip on the handle at exactly the wrong time. This strap really makes a positive difference. Definitely recommended.

It's abit of a puzzle at first but once you get the ring part figured out (it's super easy) this totally feels comfortable, secure and strong. I normally use a carabiner through a belt loop but this will do nicely to have in our arsenal of dog walking necessities.

My Jack Russell is always go,go, go, as is true to the breed. I like the extra modicum of security this provides for when he sees a squirrel or anything else that catches his interest causing him to make a quick bolt in pursuit. It also allows me to let the leash go and have a free hand to open a baggie to clean up his droppings, offer some water or treats while still having him in my control. It's comfortable, easy to adjust and good quality material.
