Hercules HA100 Mute Holder for 4 Mutes

If you have multiple mutes this is the way to go. Makes it so much easier than attaching individual mute holders, and it is very sturdy and easy to set up. A bit heavy to add to my mute bag, but definitely worth it! Can't believe I waited this long to get my own!!!

I had been meaning to buy one of these for a long time, and finally had a perfect reason to. I was hired to do my 1st professional musical over the summer. This product cam in clutch! I will never go to a gig without it.Everything was right within arms reach, it secured nicely to the stand, very easy to adjust when needed. I was able to clip my in-ear monitor to it as well. If you're big into doing pit gigs, jazz gigs, or anything that requires a lot of mutes.... get it. It's worth it!

This is a good value for what it does. You can remove the little black plastic insert in one of the loops so you can have 4 mutes handy. I guess they include that for a water bottle or mouthpiece shelf, but I need four mutes. I like how it folds up and fits into my mute bag.

Just got my holder today. It successfully holds 4 trombone mutes (cup, straight, pixie, and Harmon) and I should note that the Harmon and straight muted are Tom Crown (tend to be larger and have thicker cork).

I like this a lot! Fifty years ago, most music called for one, maybe two, mutes; at most. Now, it's common to find three or more different mutes called for in the course of one concert performance. This little device keeps everything in sight and accessible, without stooping. No more kicking around mutes on darkened stages, either! I should qualify my remarks by noting I'm a trumpet player and the first thing I did was remove the small tray so that I might use the three larger rings for my straight, cup, and harmon mutes. These rings provide bigger and less noisy targets when making quick mute changes. On most occasions I don't use the long, little ring but it will hold a small plunger mute - upside down - without a problem. That said, if you're a trombone player, you'll have to determine its merits on your own. Finally, the device transports easily. I use a Pro-Tec case, and when I'm off to rehearsals or performances, my K&M 5-leg stand resides in the bell of the horn, and the mute holder, all my mutes, mouthpieces, and lots of other junk fit neatly in the designated storage area. Yes, it ends up weighing some, but it works!

Ben fatto e molto resistente. Sicuramente un pezzo da avere per chi suona in orchestra e deve spesso mettere e togliere la sordina...e questo ti permette di non doverla poggiare a terra avendola sempre a portata di mano.

Un peu encombrant dans le sac quand il est plié mais il faut savoir ce que l'on veut. J'en suis très satisfait. Je peux y mettre notamment mes sourdines sèche, bol, plunger et wahwah en enlevant le petit plateau. Le tout à porté de main, stable et sans accrocher lorsqu'on les saisit en jouant. Parait robuste, à voir dans le temps.Je recommande vraiment ce produit

Ordered these for use with a Championship Section Brass Band cornet section for a test piece that used multiple mutes. This mute holder is perfect.Well made, sturdy and packs down to a small enough size to stick in the gig bag with all of the mutes.Hercules is a great brand, and this product reflects that.
