Nice, and quick delivery. Works fine.
Second one of these I bought. Works well, even handled an intentional overload just fine. The optional battery for the remote control is not cheap at local stores, but really not needed for my application. And, the USB worker even when the AC switch is turned off. So can use as a spare phone charger easy.

Great little inverter for price
Works as intended.

Does what it says
Chilly morning in the garage. Time to test my new inverter. Looks good coming out of the box, packaged well. I was concerned after reading the reviews that this inverter would not deliver the full advertised power, lets put it to the test and get some hot chocolate in the process on this cold morning. The rating on my electric teapot is 900-1100 watts, perfect for the test! I hooked up the copper leads (not aluminum like cheaper brands) to the less than fully charged marine battery that had been sitting around. I started off with a lightbulb and some simple power tools and all looked good. Now for the BIG TEST. Fill the pot with water, plugged it in and GO! No problems. Even with the undercharged battery, the inverter did its job. (see pic) The voltage dropped to less than 120V, but I'm sure that was due to the low charge of the deep cycle battery. In a few minuets I had a nice cup of HC to keep warm. I have the usual complaint about the oddball battery not being included and what's the point of the fuses? Otherwise I'm happy with he purchase.

Works Great with very little stand by current used
I purchased this one to use to power an antenna rotor when we are out in the field. I am so pleased that is hardley draws any current just turned on. The last time I purchased one was 10 years ago (Still have it and it still works just to big to take portable) my old one would draw 2.5 amps just turned on with nothing plugged into it. Man they have really improved them in 10 years. This one has a little problem, the watts on the display does not work it just shows 0000 no matter how much I draw from it. I like it so much that I am keeping it for my Radio room in the basement (I already have power usage monitoring set up, I run my entire Amateur Radio setup off solar power). I am going to order another one for portable and hopefully that display works. I need to know in the field how much I am drawing from my battery. For 69$ this thing is just perfect!

Feature packed
Capacity for the money and pure sine wave were the main reasons for my purchase. I didn't know that I would like the digital readout as much as I did. The remote control is nice and had a long range but I rarely use it.

Not reliable.
After 18 mo. it is failing to produce 120v. It does have a 24mo warranty but that is of no use if unable to get support. Used seldom during that time.

Accomplishes it’s purpose
This isn’t something at least in the 500 watt version that is going to run much when the power goes out — in SC we had a Hurricane go through that left my family without power for three days (some still don’t have power almost two weeks later) — I set up a little experiment with this and found that it will fast charge my rechargeable electronics and flashlights — I tried using the USB outlets in my car but that was not worth the gas at the slow charge rate — I can hook this right up to the car battery without turning on the motor and charge several items at the same time — with the display you can see the input voltage from the car and run the motor only when needed and verify the output voltage to be close to 120 VAC — the more devices you add the lower the voltage goes — I tried to run a corded drill and then my lawn mower battery charger with the same result — the output voltage dropped below 30 VAC and the inverter alarm went off as did the inverter — when I removed the load all was good again — of course the motor running requires the car to be outside — this is small enough that if the weather is bad you can put everything under the hood safely away from moving parts and heat — the input terminals need to be modified to get a tight fit on the wire lugs — the knobs don’t have deep enough threads to fully tighten down onto the wires — I had to put a couple of extra washers on the terminals to get a tight fit — there were three thin washers included so I would have only been able to get one side tight — I can use this for what I ordered it for so I am very happy with this inverter — go for a model that has a display, otherwise there is too much guess work and that would likely end up with a blown fuse

The metering really helps a lot
Works great. The live metering on AC usage, amps draw etc. is very helpful - the basic idiot lights on older units are hard to use and leave you guessing.
