Teatime in Paris!: A Walk Through Easy French Patisserie Recipes

I thought the patisserie would look a lot more attractive and fancy.
I bought this for a gift for Christmas. I looked through it and was quite impressed but a lot of the recipes are a little repetitive - loads of macarons. I thought the patisserie would look a lot more attractive and fancy. I am sure my daughter will love working her way through the book though.Extras that I hadn't thought of, is that she doesn't have the requisite tins. All in all this add on gift is working out expensive!

Teatime delights
A great recipe book from Ms Colonna whose first book we also have. The guided walk through Paris has inspired us to do the same walk along the Foodie trail whenever we are next in Paris.

A joy to read!
I absolutely love this book! It is colorful, informative and interesting. It's a cookbook, for sure, but it is also a travel book, a photo book, a history lesson and just GOOD FUN! I love the retro-modern look of the illustrations and really enjoyed all the Paris street signs. Food photos are great, too. I learned that even I can make Paris pastries and with Jill's instructions, it's not difficult at all.

French baking demystified
I found Jill on Instagram and fell in love with her photos of food, travel, and everyday life in France. Buying her books was the next logical step. Filled with scrumptious recipes and beautiful photos, this book is a delight to browse through. I am not much of a baker, so I cannot review the recipes yet, but the imagery holds me captive every time I pick up the book.P.S. My 10 yo daughter can't wait to try her hand at the pistachio and cherry kirsch choux puffs!

Lovely Book!
I was pleasantly surprised by this lovely cookbook. It's packed with delicious recipes, step by step instructions and beautiful photos. Jill has a section on making macarons. Her first book was called Mad About Macarons, so she knows macarons. Lots of gorgeous pastries that are equally at home for an Afternoon Tea in Paris or London!
