VacuMaid UV150GKP Extended Life Professional Wall Mounted Utility Vacuum with 50ft. Garage Kit Pro (Unit and Kit)

I was enthusiastic about this as a replacement for 2 or 3 of my roll-around shop vacs. It installed easily, seems to have plenty of power, and I've incorpoated the "holster-vac" system so that it turns ON when I remove it from the holster rather than forcing me to plug in the hose or go to the switch not the vac to start it up. With the muffler, it's fairly quiet as well. Time to get up and running was short as well. All good so far.But then, I went to change the bag. UGH!!!!! What were they thinking? What was I thinking when I put the bag into the unit? The fact is, now my first bag is about 1/2 full and it is impossible to get it out of the canister without tearing. You see, there are those two input ports at the top of the unit, above the bag that protrude into the canister by about 4". They make getting the bag out of the canister nearly impossible - unless you plan on changing the bag when it gets to about 25% of capacity. If I wanted 1/4 of a vacuum, I would have bought one. I don't want to change the d--n bag every day! So, how to get it out of the canister? So far, the best suggestion has been to vacuum the dust out of the bag with one of those shop vacs that were replaced by this system. Say what!!!!!!?????

Received damaged, but shipping box is OK, so I 'assume' it left the manufacturer this way. Sizable Dent in the back of the unit and a few blemishes in the powder coating finish.Might reorder, but sending this unit back
