Great machine that quickly makes good quality ice
I'm still on day one of this ice machine, so I'll update this if anything changes. So far, I love it. The ice is very similar to what you get from Sonic or QT or Buc-ee's. It's the small, "chewy" ice cubes that many of us love. The machine makes ice very quickly. Within 20 minutes of turning it on, I had enough ice to fill my 32 oz Nalgene bottle almost all the way to the top. I've seen some comments about the noise level, and it's not exactly quiet, but I don't think it's unnecessarily loud either. It's mainly the fans you hear when it's making ice, which is unavoidable since refrigeration makes a lot of waste heat that has to go somewhere. If you're looking for something affordable that makes great ice and makes it quickly, you can't go wrong here. It's small enough to fit on top of my office dorm fridge, and it's not so loud that it interferes with my work. Check this one out!

Love this ice machine
I absolutely love this! I was on the fence after hearing that ice melts but it does so very slowly and keeps replenishing. You will always have ice if you keep it running. Also a nice price- you do ot need a pricier unit, this does the trick just fine. It is a bit louder than I expected but I don't mind it. My husband does, but he is sensitive to noise. The small nugget ice is absolutely lovely! I feel spoiled every day! I'm living the fancy ice life.

Handy little machine....
I've only had this ice maker for a couple of weeks, but so far, so good. My icemaker in my freezer went out, and we had no ice while waiting for a part to come in. I purchased this as a backup. It works fast and is very quiet. I do have it in the laundry room, so that may help with any noise concerns. The basket fills up fast as it is smaller. It's good for maybe 2 glasses, depending on how much ice you want, at a time, but it will be full again in time for the next drink. The ice is a little soft but lasts as long as expected. It is worth it for a backup or supplementary ice source.

Looks Great, Works Great
This has been a great little icemaker! I have had this for approximately 18 months, (I meant to review it sooner but kept forgetting) and it is still going strong. We have an ice maker built into our freezer, but our city water quality is not reliable. So, I wanted something that made small enough pieces that I could make a bunch and put it in the dispenser tray in my freezer. These soft little nuggets are just the right size to use with my dispenser and to crunch. The ice maker holds 2, 16.9-ounce bottles of water at a time, with that amount of water we normally get around 3 pounds of ice. The ice maker does not have a freezer feature, so once the ice is made, it will melt if you leave it in the basket. We use our about 2-3 times per week, it is not self-cleaning, that is something you will have to do. I do not clean ours after each use, I just make sure any remaining water is emptied out. Once every two weeks or so, I will cycle white vinegar and water through it to remove any build-up or potential germs. This EUHOMY nugget ice maker comes with easy to read and follow instructions, compatible with any home outlet that accommodates three-prong plug ins. I have been extremely happy with this ice maker; it is of excellent quality and reasonably priced.

DO NOT BUY THIS USELESS MACHINE!!!
I was so excited to receive this ice maker because it claimed to make the most perfect nugget ice just like Sonic's delicious ice. I've been buying cups of Sonic ice twice a week for some time now. However, now that it's hot outside here in California, the ice melts a little by the time I get home, so when I put it in the freezer, it hardens up into one solid brick of ice and doesn't taste the same as when getting and eating it right away from Sonic. Soooo, then I decided to just get my very own ice maker to alleviate this problem. I did my research and looked for a machine that is compact and easy-to-use and clean. Most importantly, the ice maker had to produce Sonic styled nugget ice, not bullet ice. Well, after reading all the reviews on this Euhomy Ice Maker, I was sold. As I said before, I was extremely excited about this ice maker. Well, I received it yesterday, September 1st, and followed all the manufacturers directions to set it up. (Note: You won't be able to use it right away because you MUST let the machine sit upright for 24 hours before plugging it in, turning it on, and filling the reservoir with water to begin making ice. Then you're instructed to throw out the first few batches before you can use the ice.) So, I got my machine yesterday and set it upright on the kitchen counter around 7:30p.m. At 7:40p.m. the following night I finally plugged it in, pushed the On button, and filled up the reservoir with filtered water. Then, I waited anxiously for the first batch of "Sonic" ice. I'll admit that the ice maker is speedy. I heard ice drop into the basket about five minutes later. Another positive is that it isn't loud at all, as some people have claimed. Okay, those are the only positives though. I wanted and was expecting small nugget ice, but instead I got large bullet ice (for those of you who don't know what the difference is between nugget and bullet ice, just Google it.) I saw that there are two option buttons on the front, Large and Small. Well, the large button was lit up, so I figured that was the problem. I then turned the ice maker off and unplugged it. I waited about 30 seconds, then plugged it back in, turned it on, and switched it from Large to Small. My hopes were back up that I would get the glorious small nugget ice I was so craving. The ice dropped about five minutes later and I was disappointed again. WTH?!? So, I thought that maybe that was the last cycle of the large ice and my smaller ice would be coming next. Nope!! The only ice that machine was making was large bullet ice, which I do NOT like. Well, I again turned off the ice maker and unplugged it. Waited another 30 seconds then plugged it back in. Now, the dumb machine won't even turn on. I pushed the On/Off button several times and....nothing. Dead machine 26 hours later after receiving it!?!? Good thing I saved the box because this useless machine is going back. I'm definitely not keeping it when it doesn't even make small Sonic-styled ice as it claims. More importantly, the ice maker stopped working 26 hours after receiving it. Needless to say, I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!

This product is a "bit of alright!
I bought this nugget icemaker and rec'd it two days ago. Here's what I've learned so far. Pros: a) Packaged really well. Unless someone really tried to destroy it, it should come in just fine. Nice job! b) Easy to take all the pieces out, clean and put back together (hint: there aren't many parts, which is nice!) c) They say ice in 6 mins... True but not enough to use. lol My attached video shows this. However, in 20 mins there was enough for one cup. Give it an hour and it'll be about full. It'll auto turn off as the ice gets stuck coming out of the chute so it thinks it's full but it's only about 2/3 full. That's fine. All ice machines will do this. Several glasses worth in an hour. d) Very compact and pretty light. e) Pretty quiet. You can hear it but there is a lot going on inside to create the ice. It's not loud enough to be a bother. f) Delicious nugget ice! No complaints on size or taste! g) Easy to drain, dry off and put away. Cons: I can't come up with any. How long will it last? That's the real question. Only time will tell. Overall, here was my goal. I just wanted to use it for a day, bag up a bunch of ice, drain and dry and put it away until I needed more ice. The reason for this goal was this... My first nugget maker was the GE Profile 2.0. Almost $600. I ran it 24/7 (I use a lot of ice). This was a mistake. Running it that much wore it out too quickly and also dirtied it up too easily. There was no good way to clean it other that hoping the "clean" setting actually did clean it. Well, it didn't. I don't think any can. You can't take any of them apart enough to make sure there isn't black gunk growing in all the guts of the machines. This nugget maker is easier to get too. The top lifts off and you can actually see the inside water tank and the big front tank and clean them both. Much better and a third of the price. Will it make ice as fast? Heck's no. Can I make ice for a few hours and bag it up and put in the freezer? Heck's yeah. I'm going for price now. I'll make ice, clean up the machine and put away for a week. So far, this is a great buy!!

ICE IS NICE.
My wife loves to buy ice in bags from the local store. $2.50 for 8lbs. Then when she needs some from the freezer, she beats on it with a knife that would kill a buffalo (unproven). Point is she has to break it apart which sends chips on the floor. This machine here makes great little nugget ice that fills her YETI cup each morning. Not big chunks, but little pieces that actually leave no air space. We use filtered water which I place in our refrigerator overnight. Next morning, I add it to the Euhomy, and ice cubes start falling very quickly. It did take 2 batches to get rid of the weird taste. We've only had it about a week, but so far so good. It does take up space on our small kitchen counter that could be used for other things but it's not much. The noise level is not bad either. Our kitchen is open to the living room, and the sound doesn't interfere with our TV. I'm happy with it and no more knives chopping into things they're not designed for. I would buy it again and sooner or later, it will pay for itself. However, if you put it in a zip lock bag, or bowl, and into the freezer, it does freeze into a solid block. I use ours as needed, usually only one batch each morning, but more if company is coming over.

Nice -- But needs Improvements - after 1 year true review
Now that I have had this product for over a year, here is what I can say - Pro: - easy to set up -Sits nicely on the counter - Has a long enough cord - Makes ICE in about 7-8 min -Easy fill with water - to the max line - Easy removal of Ice tray - Nice clear lid to see when the ice is full Cons: - The clean is a pain in the ass - if you descale once a week, it's great - BUT this design has a lid that doesn't REMOVE - so the mechanism that freezes the water into cubes isn't accessible to clean without taking the whole thing apart and altering it (The entire lid is screwed into the inside) ** build-up of particles can and will develop in the drop tray if this machine is not cleaned weekly** - It's a bit loud, but my family has gotten used to it - over time, you don't notice it -No place to put a Scoop when you want a single serving of ice - (gross for those of you who keep a scoop in the ice tray) - -would be nice if this design had a "Scoop Holder" on the side ( Yes, I bought one elsewhere and attached it) * since I have a HVAC person in my family - he has altered the top so the lid will comes off easliy for cleaning - but not everyone has that luxury -- if your looking for a Counter top that is easy clean - I would stay away from this one UNLESS your a person that Deep Cleans your machines once a week with a descaling solution (which is pricy after a while)

Awesome!
Best investment I ever made. Works great, makes ice quick, and it’s the good crunchy little ice. Perfect for my daily iced coffees! Update a couple months later, still works great, so glad I bought it! Couldn’t recommend enough!

Dissapointed
Bought this nugget ice maker August 2025 and I really love it! But at the beginning of this month, it started to make squeaky sounds and not making ice anymore! I tried to check the product support, but the information is for and Ice Cream machine and not the ice nugget maker! SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!! For the price we pay for it, you’d expect it to last more than 11 months!!! Be very careful if you purchase! When it was working, it was the best ice maker! But now it’s just dead weight on my countertop, and I have to buy a new one!!!

Quick and tasty ice!
Great ice maker, if you want nugget ice this machine has the perfect consistency. I appreciate how easy it is to run the cleaning cycle which I was worried about before buying this machine.

Frekitamente recomendable
El descubrimiento del verano, no para de hacer hielo, es cierto que la forma de bala podria ser de un tamaño quizás mas grande pero lo compensa con la producción que realiza al dia, ya no necesitamos 7 botellas de agua en la nevera.
