I have several portable solar panels for different occasions and purposes but, the one thing that separates this one from others is the handy pouch to carry a battery power pack and cords. This 28W panel is also compact enough to strap onto a backpack or place inside. With backpacking, any added weight is not desirable but, if you’re going to be roughing it for a few days or more in the wilderness and need a power source, then this would be a good contender. BUT, if you are going to be where there’s going to be an issue with having enough direct sunlight for effective solar charging then maybe taking several power packs would be more effective and logical. I like this solar charging panel and its portability. The output reading is bright enough and easy to see how much sunlight you’re getting and it does have two USB slots for dual charging capabilities. The only thing I do not like is the lack of a Type C port. I’m assuming it has to do with the type of solar power converted they’re using so it’s not a deal breaker for me. Hopefully they will come out with an updated version, which I would gladly buy IF it’s not too much more expensive. Overall I like this portable solar power charging system and the quality of the design and materials is pretty good. So, if you’re into backpacking, hiking, camping, or prepping then I recommend it. Other than hiking and backpacking, this panel is also part of my bug out gear list. You never know when you gotta make a run for it…

This is a great solar panel and works well. I got this to complement a power bank that I got for backpacking. I like that there is an integrated USB hub for attaching devices. I like how well this stores and the case is well made. 5/5 stars.

I’ve only had my solar charger for a week, but I’m very impressed with it so far. The amperage display makes it easy to figure out the best angle to place it at and the legs provide a lot of flexibility for getting the ideal angle to the sun. The build in case provides plenty of room for a 15 amp hour power bank plus cables and other accessories. It’s fast to deploy and take down. It charges my battery pack faster than a USB wall charger. All around I love the product. I’ve ordered the 4 panel model as well and I’m looking forward to trying it out when it arrives next week.I haven’t had an opportunity yet to try charging while hiking, but I did try attaching it to my backpack and the 2 panel seems to be the perfect size for a daypack.

Felt like a bit of a gamble, but it paid off. The build quality is great, it included a USB C cable, everything seems water tight and I was able to get over 1500 mA out of the 28 W model in full sun. Would have charged my phone in 2 hours.

Used it to charge my phone. Would be better if it had power storage as well. Will come in handy as long as it holds up

The media could not be loaded. Order this portable solar panel to put in my bug out bag. Folds into its own case and is very portable/ slim. Durability seems like it’s there ( as much as solar panels can be).I have not been out in the field much to test the charging time and water resistant. It comes with instructions, but pretty self-explanatory easy to use.

This is a great item for camping or for the military folks when they go to the field. It folds up easy, stores the cables in the case and fits easily in a ruck. I’ve had a lot of weight on top of the case before and thought I broke the solar panels but to my surprise it’s still working. They also make a portable battery which pairs well with this item and I recommend buying along with this.
