The first stand arrived without one of the plastic inserts, however, being bought through Prime I was able to get a replacement next day. I was fitting this to a light(ish) electric bike (14kg) so having this type of stand isn't ideal as you would normally fit a motorbike style stand. Fitting was straightforward and I was able to fit it around the motor cable. Now in use it works very well, it's further back than I would have liked but that's down to the cabling on the bike and also the stand catching on the pedal. The height adjustment is very easy - just lift the catch and change the height - much better than the screw lock type I've had before. The stand is also very sturdy and should last a long time. Overall really pleased with my purchase.

A heavy duty kickstand that holds my fully pannier laden roadbike steadily without batting an eye. Its very well constructed using thick cast aluminium that shouldn't easily break. It did come with some low quality bolts which I changed out as I happened to have a packet of higher quality ones of the same type. I have no doubt the standard hardwear will do the job however. I was concerned that my chainstay might have been a little too large as my measurements put it right on the upper limit. It wasn't and issue though and it fit easily and securely. I did add a little inner tube to cushion the frame as the plastic inserts aren't the softest. The action is nicely weighted and hasn't yet sprung open even when riding over rough roads or up and down kerbs. My only concern is the adjustable foot. It's made of a hard plastic which may turn out to be brittle, although I haven't read any reviews stating it has broken. Over all I think I chose the right kickstand and am very, very happy with it.

Quick delivery as usual, overboxed also, as usual.Item is simple to install, sturdy, easy to adjust and works as expected. I got fed up of kickstands which install around the bottom bracket with a bolt through the middle - over time they scuffed the paint (I’m not precious but it may bother others), but more importantly they would become loose, bash on the pedals whilst cycling and prevent pushing a bicycle backwards (when parking up) without the pedals locking with it.This stand elevates all those issues, a little button type latch at the back (out of sight) allows secure height adjustment (it doesn’t slide shorter if weight is put on it). I don’t normally write reviews often, but felt this needed a big thumbs up to make someone’s decision to choose easier.

Perfect, easy to fit (DIY), secure, easy to adjust, excellent value for money. Got a Boardman Hybrid bike from Halfords and although it's a great bike you can't fit a kickstand in the usual place on the bottom bracket cos there are gear cables in the way. Halfords not very helpful and even the usually reliable Evans bike shop didn't offer a solution. Searched online and found this stand - it's spot on. Advice to retailer - put #Halfords in all your marketing and you will get a shed-load of customers who want a stand for their Boardman bike but can't get one fitted as standard.

Worked well for my bike, but not for my partners as his frame was too thin (they are both steelies) and it would just slide up with any weight put on it. Would be helpful if they supplied different thicknesses of the rubber inner part to adapt to different size frames.

The media could not be loaded. Normally I'd just lean my bike against a wall or fence but when I fitted a bar end rear view mirror to the right side of my handlebars I quickly realised I wouldn't be able to just lean it anymore. I needed a stand. This one got some good reviews so I thought I'd try it and I'm glad I did.Construction is cast aluminium so no rust issues there (time will tell if it corrodes I suppose, but it was only a tenner). I was pleased to note a very positive 'click' when moving the stand to the 'up' or 'down' position. I am confident the stand will stay in the 'up' position over all bumps.Installation was straight-forward; just ensure the clamp part is out of the way of the movement of the pedal. Gradually tighten each screw so the clamp closes evenly and then just nip each screw up to fully tighten down. I found that slightly moving the stand whilst tightening allowed it to find its natural settling point on the frame. Once fully tightened its not going anywhere. Then just lift the adjustment clip to allow the foot of the stand to move to the desired point, then release. Job done.I would definitely recommend this stand. 👍

I just bought a new mountain bike (27.5" tyres), and the genius designer decided to put one of the cables through the hole where a stand would go, so that scuppered that plan. This stand is perfect for getting around that issue. It's very solid and sturdy, and the rubber foot is large. It's has removable inserts on the clamp so it should fit most, if not all bikes, but take your own measurements just in case. So easy to fit, took about 5 minutes, and it's height adjustable with the simple push of a button. And I was very glad they had the all black version. Highly recommended.

Not sure what you get from a more expensive kickstand that you don’t get with this one. High-quality materials, adjustable, installs easily, and most importantly, it confidently keeps the bike from falling. The only thing I wish they had done differently is to include two sets of screws, on for the 15mm width (see 3rd image). The screws protrude further than I would prefer but there is still plenty of room from the tire spokes. Not enough to take away a star from such a great product and value.

They’re a good product. I was looking for an all black model to match my bike and it’s very good looking. It fits my 26 inch wheel bike. It’s easy to install. Although keep in mind the package only contains the kickstand and screws. There’s no allen key included. Nevertheless, it looks good. It’s smooth and you can even adjust the height of the kick stand with one simple click.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Hab mir nach 8 Jahren ohne Radständer für meine Irantour diesen Ständer gekauft. Mit 2 schweren Satteltaschen stand das Rad sicher. Die Länge lässt sich in Sekunden mit einem Handgriff und ohne Werkzeug einstellen und anpassen. Sehr stabil und durchdacht. Kaufempfehlung!

Fixation facile et solide.

Beroende på ramens form kan det var svårt att dra åt så att det verkligen sitter. Jag lade klippt trädgårdsslang imellan och drog fast den. Den har vikt sig en gång, sen gjorde jag om samma igen och nu verkar den sitta bra.
