Crown Sporting Goods 3/4-Inch Extra Thick Yoga Mat with No Stick Ridge

This yoga mat is fabulous....I am just getting into yoga at home plus I have a lot of back and joint issues and am doing physical therapy exercises per my chiropractor. I gives me so much support and I can comfortably do all my moves. I ordered the black as that was the only available - it's more of a dark gray. Mat is a large size - width and length (I'm 5'3" and have a ton of room to stretch out) and comes with a very nice carrying strap. It came with no odor, but it air out and straighten a bit as it was curled some from being rolled and shipped. I just received it yesterday so I can attest to the durability. Very pleased. Shipping took six day to New Jersey. Not bad considering all the shipping delays due to COVID19.

I bought this for my best friend who is ill and extremely thin. Yoga helps with his pain. His other mat was thinner material and the wood floor underneath, hurt his bony body. He loves this mat! He does yoga and stretching and even naps on it if the sun is coming through a window. It is twice the thickness of a regular mat and is very dense yet velevety smooth and cushioning to the weighted areas of your body. This would make a wonderful camping mat for under a sleeping bag. There is absolutely **no odor** to this mat. It comes packaged in a thick mil clear plastic wrapper. We are very happy with this purchase.

Thick, comfortable. I loved that this is 5/8 inch thick. I looked at many and even checked out Walmart and other places. This is a good buy. I would buy this again.

Good mat. Very thick and big. If you leave anything sitting on it tho it will leave indents. My free weights all have left marks

I have a terrible lower back, and doing sit-ups, crunches, or anything that puts a lot of pressure on the lower back area normally hurts on a regular mat or even carpeting, but this mat is so thick, and super cushy– perfect for relieving any of that pain and pressure! I use it during the day at my standing computer work station for a little extra comfort. It does dent up pretty easily, so don't use this outside or place heavy objects or furniture on it.

Bought this exact mat not quite 10 years ago and use it on the floor a few times a week for old man yoga. This mat will not die nor will it deform nor has it ever not been super comfortable to stretch on!! The only way you know this may is not new is the slight degradation of the grooved design on the mat surface. I would buy again in the blink of an eye but it appears I wont need to since this may will likely outlast me. Accept no life long mat substitutions! Im very very serious!!!

Nice and thick and long. Perfect for yoga. It has a bit of a shine to it so worried my feet would slip doing yoga poses. I tried it out at home and I felt very secure on it . It is 3/4 inch thick ...I measured it myself. It will be very comfortable to kneel on. People complained it was too soft to do any balance yoga but every class of yoga I have been to we always step off our mat for balance poses. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a little more padding.

This is a great mat, nice and thick, soft, durable and good value. The only issue is that it came with a distinct odor which took a long, long time to finally stop. It took at least a year! It was like a plastic type smell, not really offensive, more of an annoying smell that you can tolerate while using the mat. If you are sensitive to smells, then you may wish to avoid this item.

Just what I wanted! I do a lot of mat exercises at home, and my old exercise mat always left me in pain because it was too thin. My knees, hands, and tailbone were always in pain because there wasn't enough cushion to support the bony areas of my body. This mat is awesome for working out on. If you are looking for a mat that will support you while you stand on it, this might have a little too much give to be sturdy enough for that. But for my needs, this provides the thickness that I am looking for!

I find this yoga mat to be extremely comfortable and light. It is however very thick when it's rolled up but it is very light weight. There is no pain in my knees now when doing certain yoga poses (which is the main reason I bought this mat for its 3/4 inch thickness) and is very comfortable when lying down on it. It is not made of the standard yoga material where it is woven-like and sturdy, instead it's made of a thick, soft, spongy rubber padding, so if you don't care about looks this is the mat for you. I am overall very pleased with this product.
