When I first bought this I was expecting a traditional Mexican copal, this is definitely not that. When I received the box I was turned off by the scent. Instead of returning it I took a gamble and lit one and man am I glad I did. Don't get me wrong, this smells absolutely nothing like copal, however it is now one of my favorite incense. It is beautiful and floral and has a depth to it. The fragrance is natural and complex and lingers for the right amount of time. It also burns slow and the sticks are quite hefty. I noticed some other reviews complain that the incense go out but that is an indication of these being naturally made incense containing no charcoal or toxic sulfur and instead using upcycled flowers, natural resins, honey and oil. A bonus- this product empowers marginalized women hand rolling this incense in India. I've repurchased this product three times. I prefer the white copal to the dragon's blood personally. I will note the package says it contains 35% powdered white copal imported from Mexico, so it's not false advertising in that sense. Compared to the Japanese inscense I also buy, these are quite a good value for burn time and quantity. Namasté

I absolutely love my copal incense. The incense sticks are well formed. The packaging is completely biodegradable. This company’s values align with mine. Conscious and supportive of nature and giving work to women.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’m very sensitive to synthetic smells and incense being overwhelming however the oud one I got was clearly made from real ingredients and was pleasant. No headache and the smells lingers long enough and overpowers my neighbors black and mild smell that makes me gag

I decided to treat myself and chose this one and I absolutely love it.Incredible smell, I haven't run across any issues or imperfections in the individual sticks, they seem packed with care in their box.I also love the insert! This company seems amazing! We love women owned, women created, incredible products.I cannot wait to choose another scent and know I'll be getting incredible quality.

Convenient to use but not much of the Oud scent. Easier clean up than using the agarwood chips. Good amt of incense for the price.

Smells amazing. Burn for half an hour and the scent lingers for hours afterwards.

This incense has a lovely scent and I love that it's made cleanly; however, being someone who has experience with Copal, this incense smells nothing like Copal. I mistakenly expected an incense stick that looks like the first photo of this listing, which is indeed a White Copal resin incense stick. Instead, I received incense that looks like the 2nd and 3rd photos of this listing and smells nothing like actual Copal. While I do enjoy this incense by itself for what it is, it is NOT a TRUE Copal resin incense stick which has an entirely different scent and texture than this product.
