Body By Simone: Trampoline Cardio

Not for beginners. Great music and fast pace!
Love this workout. I appreciate any workout that has all the elements, warm up, breakdown of the work, arm work, abdominal and cool down. This is a tough workout. I managed to do 90% of the trampoline work. If you’re an experience mover like a dancer or cheerleader, this is for you. It’s fast pace and great music. The choreography is fast but easy to get it once you do this dvd a few times. Also, I have a Bellicon with strong bungee cords so I have to work harder and can’t go as fast as the moves require. Oh well. With all the being said, I recommend this workout to intermediate to advance rebounders.

LOVE THE TRAMPOLINE
Simone has by far the best Trampoline workout I have done since purchasing my mini trampoline - my only disappointment is she only has one!! I do hope she will make more!! The workout is very challenging and I have been working out for 33 years at age 55 this workout knocks the life out of me but I love it! You could easily break it down and just do the Jumping dance routine and skip the other modules but the full hour is a great challenge - she hits some toning with wrist weights to add to the ending segments and some ab work near the end - I love the last 5 minutes of extreme cardio with the fast paced running to really end it with an "ah" kind of feeling! Her dance background means lots of fun and creative moves and the flow is to build on each segment and combine the dance routines in the final Cardio blast - I love the music because it really goes well with the moves! Simone is very professional and the studio and production of this video are excellent! Other Trampoline workouts lack in finding good music to workout with and that has been the greatest challenge with trampoline workouts! Good job Simone! Please make more!!

NO DVD MENU
Remember the olden days of VHS tapes? Remember when you had to fast forward to the section that you wanted to watch? Well, welcome back to the olden days of inconvenience. For some inexplicable reason, this 2017 DVD has no menu. If you would like to focus on a particular cardio section, good luck! You'll have to fast forward and waste time trying to locate the section that you want. I find this extremely frustrating and annoying. I don't have time on work mornings to do this whole DVD, so I would like to be able to select the sections that I want to do. Unfortunately, this DVD does not have chapters.I would probably return it because of the lack of chapters, however, there are so few decent mini-trampoline videos (there are a couple of good ones on YouTube), that I'll keep it anyway. The workout on this is fun and will raise your heart rate. However, the cueing is poor to nonexistent and, as someone else pointed out, exercisers wearing white against a white background is questionable. Still, if you can put up with these issues, it's a decent exercise video.

This will kick your booty and leave you smiling!
Okay, I love this workout dvd. I was looking to add some significant cardio to my workout routine and boy did I get it! This is truly a full body workout with no missed elements. There were several points where I asked myself if it was ever going to end, but I truly got my money’s worth.I would consider this an advanced workout in terms of exertion. The choreography is simple enough to follow, but there is SO much bouncing and what not. As a longtime fitness instructor I am no whimp, but I have to pace myself and give myself a mini pep talk to get through the entire workout.Overall, great workout, nicely produced, and Simone is super lovable!Side note: I have the same trampoline they use in the video. I would not recommend doing this workout on a cheap trampoline as it will severely jack you up. If you can, do invest in a JumpSport or another high quality trampoline. They are pricey but worth it.

Fun, sweaty workout
I absolutely love this workout! It's a full-body workout that even includes a good balance section. But best of all is the fun cardio. Don't expect to get all the moves perfectly on the first time -- do your best or just jog or do jumping jacks if you get confused. It's not easy to find long trampoline workouts, so I hope she makes more. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because there is no DVD menu. I accidentally hit the wrong button on the remote instead of pause, and it took a good five minutes to find my spot again.

Upbeat and effective but lacking cues...
This was my first BBS workout DVD. It's difficult to find a trampoline/rebounder workout that is fun, effective and easy to follow. This one hits the mark except that Simone's cues are minimal at best. She and her team are delightful but it's challenging to stay on routine....not always sure what's next! Especially as the moves are quickly paced, as expected. I also wish that the sections (warm-up, cardio, etc.) were in chapters; this way I could go to a specific one when I'm not doing the entire program. They use wrist weights at one point but small dumbbells worked just fine for me. Overall, a quality production. It is an energizing workout with a wonderful instructor. I hope Simone makes more trampoline DVDs but with additional, clear directions.

BBS repeat
This is my least favorite as a Simone addict. Its all the same cardio routines as the dance cardio dvd but on a trampoline. There intermission for strength after the first 2 routines gives no time to put on weights and pausing isn't so easy when ur on the trampoline. Then there's a "childlike section" where you're encouraged to jump like you did as a kid.. pretty difficult to do on a mini trampoline. The plank work is almost the same as planks in Hips Thighs, and Buns but your elevated. Love Simone, and it does leave you a little sweaty, but I wish it was new moves. Could be fun if I didn't already know the material!

Great workout, fun and challenging!
I liked this workout a lot. It had me dripping sweat, and I frequently do high intensity workouts. Some experience with a trampoline and/or dance fitness is helpful, but not necessary. Total beginners could do the dvd once on the floor first, to get the hang of it. It’s a total body workout, with sections for arms, legs, and abs. Simone is fun and positive. I’m glad I now have a trampoline video because I don’t think I was making the best use of my rebounder.
