I have a Huskavarna riding lawn mower and I live on 12 acres in a more less off the grid location. The terrain is really not flat like a yard and has lots of dips and rises like 6" to 12". It is a real pain to mow the grass but if I do not, I will have a hay field that is out of control. Now you know my situation. So I go through fan belts like crazy which I mostly bought at NAPA auto parts at $56.00, currently, per belt. So i went on Amazon to see what I could find a fan belt that was tougher than the 'GATES' belt. Well I did, and that is this belt and it was only $29.00! It is make with Kevlar as the explanation in the info states. So Now I have used this belt and cut this grass over and over and the belt still is working and is not showing any signs of becoming shredded like all the ones in the past except for the very original belt that came with the mower and it lasted around 5 years! This belt visually looks the same as the original? I wonder if this belt is the same as that original belt. Note because I used to order three belts at a time from NAPA auto, I just ordered three of these belts. So that means I probably 'now' have enough belts to last for 15 yrs! (maybe ?) The bottom line is that I never write these reviews but this is such a drastic difference, I thought this belt deserves my review. This belt is great!!! :)) Sid Treherne, Arlington, Wa.

Well I had a broken belt, put this one on as a replacement. Not sure about the dimensions because it seemed tighter than normal but I got it on. While mowing the first time with it I thought I heard some rubbing sounds or something and looked at the belt and it was already looking rough/scraped up. Im not sure what the problem is, pulleys and guards all look fine. Belt didn't break which is good but it already looks rough. Hoping it lasts at least a few more cuts but it may be my mowers faultUpdate: Seller contacted me, apologized for my troubles, gave me a full refund and offered to send a replacement belt. Hopefully the next belt holds up a little better but rating updated to reflect the awesome customer service.

This belt fit craftsman yt3000 46 inch deck better than any other belt I’ve tried. It’s a few dollars more expensive than the other replacement belts, but well worth the money. I’ve had to replace the belt multiple times and they always stretch out way too fast, this one did not stretch out, and is much better quality. I will be purchasing this belt from here on out.

I am extremely happy with myself for paying the higher price for this belt. It is excellent and a tremendous improvement over the old belt on my JD X304 that broke after 1.5 years. When engaging the mower deck with the old belt, the engine and mower deck would chug and thug and chug and thug and eventually get up to speed. I now suspect the old belt was very stretchy which caused the erratic mower deck start-up. With the new belt, the mower deck engages immediately and smoothly without any hesitation which is very nice. The new belt is heavier, has a thicker/taller cross section, and feels more sturdy than the old belt. I will eventually order another belt just like this one to have on hand for a spare but there is no hurry because I believe the new belt will last a long time. I encourage spending the extra money for this belt and staying away from the $20+ cheap knock offs.

Perfect fit for our 42" mower deck unlike the big box store belt we returned... plus having mowed our property since installing this belt, I can honestly say its better than the John Deere belt, which was considerably more expensive and lasted only one season. Only time will tell how durable it really is and hopefully I won't have to amend my rating.

Belt lasted about 3 months... lost most teeth and came lose. Trying to contact manufacturer for the 1 year warranty but doubt it'll go anywhere.Update: got the refund and they offered sending a new one for free. I'll update it again on the second one.

I usually wait awhile to review products so that I can report how well they work after using them for some time. This belt that I purchased for a John Deere X540 mower with 54 inch mowing deck has been working perfectly. It fit correctly and was the correct dimensions for my mower. I’ve used it now for at least four mowings of a 1 acre lot.

I don't like to leave negative ratings, however, the belt only lasted two mowings. Highly disappointed in the quality.EDIT: I initially gave a 2-star rating and the seller offered to make matters right. I appreciate the seller's concern for the customer. Therefore, I add 2 stars for customer support!
