Standard drop rod, NOT for a pipe gate.
Arrived as expected. Easy to attach with some lag bolts. This is intended to be used on a wood gate with a flat attachment point. Don't buy it for a pipe gate.

Nice tall black cane bolt
Nicely made set with lots of hardware. Might be powder coated. The coating is very durable. Tall enough to solve the problems with this installation.

Heavy duty gate bolt
The install was fairly straight forward. The hardest part for most will probably be creating the hole for the rod, I thankfully installed this on dirt so it was easy to dig/drill a hole for the rod to go into.I needed to secure a side gate on the side of the house we don't use often. This keeps the wooden gate shut and secure.

Very Long and Sturdy
I had a hurricane cause my last gate bolt to snap off. It was irreparable. This one is much more sturdy than my last one and it is longer as well. It was very easy to install. I have high hopes for it.

Perfect and easy to install!
This is just what I needed. It comes with two pieces to mount it to the fence I only needed one since my fence doesn’t align flush. It took like 5 minutes to install

Flemsy and parts broke
The parts broke in less than 6days. Tried to complain with no answer

Utilitarian but attractive
This is a sturdy piece of gate hardware that appears sturdy and durable with a smooth powder coated paint finish. We installed it on a gate under an arbor and it looks very nice. I like the extra ornamental cut on the gate brackets.
