Zero leaking on my heavy day!
I didn't realize it came as a whole little kit, I was so pleasantly suprised!I love that they include the canvas zipper storage case - this is so handy for storage, or for packing when you know Aunt Flo is supposed to come soon. All the little trial size cleaner and sanitizer packets are awesome! It comes with clear, pictorial instructions on how to insert and remove the disc, if this is your first time trying out a disc, and instructions on how to remove the string if you decide you don't like it (along with a sanding board to sand any rough edges it may leave when you remove it).As for the disc itself -This is the 3rd disc I have tried, and the first that can completely handle my heavy day with ZERO leaking! It took me a few seconds to figure out the right angle to get this one in, with the curved edge. Once inserted, it's very comfortable, you don't feel a thing, and I had no problems with the angle after the first insertion. I ordered the large, as I'm on my feet all day, and on my heavier day it's not always convenient to take it out, empty, and rinse, several times during the day. This completely held my heaviest day with no leaking at all. So nice to not be sitting in blood! It does auto-dump when you pee, but I had zero leaking outside of that. By the 3rd day, I felt so confident with it, I tried it without even wearing a panty liner, and got one tiny drop. I think the curved design helps it fit tighter to your body and keeps it from leaking out behind the disc. I did find if I was sitting for awhile, I occasionally had to dash into the bathroom to reposition the silicone string, but you can't feel the disc at all.NOTE: If this is your first disc, I found it took me a cycle or two with my first disc to really get the hang of getting it positioned right so it doesn't leak. If you don't make sure you get it back all the way, it will leak out behind the disc. Also, I just run my disc under warm water before inserting, and this works for me without a lubricant!

I love my Pixie lineup!!
I love it! I also have the cup. I prefer the cup right now (only have had one cycle with the disc so that may change), but some days I just can't get it to sit right, and this gives me something that doesn't sit in the vaginal canal. The stem is a life saver. Because I don't know if I could get at the required angle to get it out without it.I did have some small leaks, but my first couple of days are super heavy, so it was honestly to be expected. It's why I also use washable cotton pads when I use either the disc or the cup on those heavy days. But it's still a million times better and less messy than my tampon/disposable pad combo I had to use prior to switching.Inserting even without an applicator has been easy to figure out for me. But I have to work on the angle of my removal to help limit mess.Overall, I like it. I like having the option of the disc or the cup. I may pick up the applicator later on.

Buy this it will make your period so much more doable especially if your periods are heavy
This thing saves me. I work twelve hour shifts on my feet and it’s hard to get away to go to the bathroom. When I am not working I am also a busy mom of 4. This is by far the best period product I have tried and hold way more than any tampon. This self empties when you pee and it works better than the salt menstrual disc which I also have and use because I alternate between the two. The thing I hate the most about this item is just the pulling it out and cleaning it, sorry but there is just no good way to do this and it’s just really kind of gross. This isn’t the discs fault it just is part of taking it out and there is no other alternative. I defiantly would recommend this product time and time again. It literally made it possible to work my twelve hours without feeling or worrying about the possibility of leaking all over my pants. I use this and wear period underwear as well for peace of mind. This product does have a piece that sticks out so you can grab and pull it out easier. I honestly don’t even notice it and it does not bother me but I think you could probably cut it off if it was bothering you. This is a great product for the price and makesYour period so much easier especially if you have heavy periods with busy full days.

Great product and service, will take time and practice to get right
I love that the disc comes with a reusable pouch and other goodies to keep clean on the go. It came in minimal packaging that seems recyclable, with very little plastic which is a plus for me. I'm an experienced cup user but wanted to give discs a try. What I like:- Very flexible for easy insertion.- String to help with removal. I did cut mine all the way since that was more comfortable, but it's nice to have the option.- Firm rim that pops open easily. I struggle a lot with to get my cups to pop open, so having the firm rim makes it so much easier.- Personally, removal was easy for me and I think the firm rim helped.- 30 mL capacity! Way more than what my cup holds, so I can go for longer without changing- Orange color which will hide any stains for a good bit!- Obviously fits in my pixie cup steamerWhat I don't like:- Suction holes around the rim. If it's supposed to remove like a tampon (just pull), there should NOT be any suction holes!! I had to break the seal each time I removed the disc, which defeated the purpose of a disc over a cup.- Auto-dumping? I'm not sure if it's user error or this was part of the design, but I would rather choose exactly when and where to empty the disc. Sometimes it leaked when I was just minding my own business- sitting, lounging, and I think some positions can trigger the auto-dumping, which was not cool. Everyone's anatomy is different, so discs just might not be the right fit, but I will definitely be testing this for a few more cycles to see if I can still make it work.
