Doesn't get any better!
I had to install a second router for the rest of my house and this thing is sturdy. It looks great and does the job perfectly!

It's a bit flimsy
It's sturdy enough to hold a small, lightweight DVD player, which is what I needed. It's also the perfect size for a small, cheap player. If you have a bigger one, like a Sony smart player, this won't be big enough.

I kept a WiFi router and a 6 port switch over it, it's hold it, but it's not strong enough for any thing more heavier

Just what I needed
Perfect shelf for my TP-Link AX1800 WiFi 6 Router. It's fits perfectly with no room to spare. Definitely check your dimensions. I'm using this setup in my building where I'm using a bridge setup.

Shelf bends under minimal weight
According to the instructions, this can be installed with the side rails facing up or down. I have installed this shelf to a concrete wall with the rails facing up. 1-1/2" diameter fender washers for max compression - 1/4-20 concrete anchors. Shelf bends under the 3-1/2 lb weight of a Cisco access point. Would be great if this was made of steel. Aluminum is too thin for this application.
