Eye eye, need a linked television!
Nice quality device and easy to fit. I particularly like the short lead that plugs directly into your tv’s arial socket. Some of the original devices plugged in directly which space and design of tv’s sometimes made this difficult.Good product, timely delivered and good value for money!

only for short distances
Unusable with an RF cable longer than 10 metres as the voltage and amperage which are necessary to relay the IR quickly drop below the required level.

Its a gem!
I don't often write reviews however felt compelled to do so with this item which is absolutely perfect for the job in hand. Not only can you change channels but your full TV guide, recorded programmes etc are there. Its as if you were using SKY on your main TV. Remember to ensure you can have a direct coaxial cable running from your Sky box to the device (which may preclude its use for some if you are unable to run such a cable between the rooms/floors) and the RF Output 2 on your Sky box is activated as its default is deactivated. (This is very easy; just Google how to do it as there are different box versions ~ it took me less than two minutes to search and activate the feature which I had never heard of before, no tecky know-how required!) Just wish I had found this product before as its a gem!

Yes it WILL WORK if you fit it correctly!
I’ve read a few negative reviews about this not working…No, it’s not going to work with Sky q… because it’s an internet service … not old school RFYour sky plus box will work… but you’ll either need RF1 and RF2 sockets on the back of your box or you’ll need an io box as well to plug into back of sky plus box…Then you plug a long coax cable into the RF out socket of the io box…Then fit the magic eye to the other end and plug into second tv.IMPORTANT… on your main tv you need to…Go into sky … services…Press ‘ 0 … 0 … 1 …. SelectThis will take you into the engineers secret pageSelect RF2 power and switch it ‘on’Then your magic eye will light up red and you can tune the second tv to see the channel
