Excellent as always!
Another book from Catharina that had me hooked from the beginning. The characters are intricately woven within the books perfectly. The angst, the emotion, the heartbreak, the family, the history, the back stories….just ‘chef kiss’.

Our tortured hero, Dion is guilt ridden over the death of his mother as well as his fiancées mother. He feels responsible for what happened and in turn closes himself off from everyone including his fiancée, Faye whom he has been engaged with since they were children. Every aspect of Faye’s life has been orchestrated to prepare her to be a “Windsor wife” suited to Dions needs. They start their marriage with secrets and insecurities, the question is whether the secrets will destroy them?Dion made me completely swoon, his possessive and jealous behaviour towards Faye and boy did this man have a mouth on him! I loved seeing Faye coming out of her shell and truly being able to find herself the longer she was married to Dion. It broke my heart completely to read about Dions trauma and guilt as well as what Fayes controlling family had put her through. This was not only a love story but a story about two broken souls navigating their way through marriage as well as facing their past trauma to come out stronger together. This was by far my favourite read in the Windsor series, I adored the cameos and banter from the other characters! I can’t wait to read about Zane and Celeste next💗⚠️Please check your trigger warnings⚠️

Beautiful story
This is the 3rd book in the series, they can certainly be read as standalone stories but personally I think you would get more from them by reading them in order. You get to know the characters, they appear in each book so they make a little more sense if you already know their story.I loved Dion and Faye. I felt there was a little more angst (which I am not so fond of), having said that I still enjoyed the storyline immensely. It was powerful and heartwarming, heartbreaking in places. Both characters had a lot to deal with in their past but the HEA was well worth the butterflies I had to reach it!Looking forward very much to the next book.

My favourite book so far!

Book four is only a month away, but that’s too long 😭I haven’t been this hooked on a book series in so long. And the Windsor brothers really know how to make me obsessed! This book is my favourite in the series by a landslide. These two definitely had to overcome the most out of all couples so far and they did it so well! They are definitely a different couple from the rest. The first thing being that they were engaged for years before getting married as it was a huge business arrangement. It was interesting to read about their individual pasts along with how they interacted with each other. It was so amazing to see Faye’s character grow and her personality blossom. Considering her father tried to manipulate and silence her. It was so amazing to see her become her own person and have some sass!Dion was such a loving character and I’m obsessed with him. He only wanted the best for Faye and made sure she was happy and I admired him for that so much.

Lovely arranged marriage !!
I am really enjoying this series. The characters are prefect and their chemistry was so good. I loved Dion's and Faye's story. They were both broken in different ways and they fix each other with love. I just thought the ending, and the back and forth was a bit unnecessary. We knew they were going to end up together.

not my favourite of the series so far
This book was ok. I enjoy Catharina Mauras books but I just wasn’t a huge fan of Dion. His character felt 2 dimensional and a little ridiculous. He was making threats of forced sex to Faye way early in their relationship and she just accepted it. It made no sense. The feelings from his secretary were an unnecessary plot line that added nothing to the story. Faye was an ok FMC. She had sass despite being raised to be the perfect wife. I just wish she had used some of that sass to stand up for herself with more than just Dion.
