Awesome bit of kit! Fast, really nimble, superb video quality. Well worth the money. Really easy to fly, decent battery life.

It's sub 250g but only just! Do not add any battery retainers or camera protectors or it'll take it over the magical weight of 250g It's not a quiet drone! Changing the propellers can make it a little quieter but not by much. It's extremely intuitive to fly using the controller. The settings are easy to figure and speed can be adjusted, it's not the fastest but then it's not really for the speed. I've got pro memory cards in it and was disappointed that max resolution and frame rate it glitched in a beautiful waterfall video I'd filmed. You'll need to purchase 2 memory cards as there's one in the drone and one in the goggles.

Bad timing on my side as they announced the Avata 2 a month after my purchase! It's a great drone, very loud but easy to get on with. I've had drones for a while now but this was my first FPV. Many use cases as the camera is fantastic. Only thing to note is the Goggles 2 that are supplied can't fit over glasses. Tou can adjust the goggles per your prescription but may come with an extra cost. All in all its a fantastic drone and surely now will be competitivelly priced now the Avata 2 is here.

Extremely happy with this drone and have been using it whenever the weather allowed it. The quality is good and it endured a handful of crashes so has me impressed. Extremely easy to use and get hang of and plenty of tutorials to watch. Functional and good value. Will definitely be using this drone for plenty of more flights

You need a spotter with you. The sd card is almost impossible to remove without taking off a prop. It is over the 250 g weight. It is noisy. It has no obstacle avoidence. BUT A HELL OF A LOT OF FUN.

Drone arrived in good time and is a brilliant piece of kit. Having lots of fun flying it and making some really cool videos. The controls are really intuitive and easy to use. Battery performance is as described. Image quality is also really good. Would defo recommend.

second dji item sent back within a month my new dji avatar drone battery was defective i asked if i could just return the battery but i had too send googles drone and controller all back not very helpful

Easiest to fly FPV drone out there. Plug and play, it just doesn't disappoint. Worth every penny. You'll be a pro in a week.

Dopo aver passato settimane a volare con il DJI Avata Pro-View Combo e il DJI RC Motion 2, posso dire che è stato un viaggio pazzesco, con alti momenti di adrenalina e qualche piccola frustrazione. Nel complesso, però, è uno dei droni FPV più accessibili e divertenti che ho provato. Ma come ogni cosa, non è tutto rose e fiori, quindi entriamo nel dettaglio. 🌟 Cosa mi ha colpito: 1. RC Motion 2: Più semplice di quanto pensassi! Il controller DJI RC Motion 2 è davvero fantastico. Lo impugni, punti e il drone segue i tuoi movimenti come se stesse leggendo la tua mente. Anche chi non ha mai pilotato un drone prima può imparare in pochi minuti. È così facile che quasi ti dimentichi quanto sia avanzata la tecnologia che stai usando. Ho fatto provare il controller a un mio cugino che non ha mai toccato un drone in vita sua, e in 10 minuti era già lì a fare giri sopra gli alberi come se fosse un pilota professionista. 2. Avata in modalità Acro: Il divertimento puro, ma con qualche limite La modalità Acro sull'Avata è davvero super divertente! Se ti piace fare acrobazie, è l’opzione perfetta per sperimentare movimenti più liberi e dinamici. La prima volta che ho provato un flip completo in acro ho avuto un brivido di eccitazione e adrenalina. Tuttavia, devo essere onesto: rispetto ad altri droni FPV pensati per le acrobazie estreme, l'Avata non è super performante. Non ha quella potenza esplosiva che ti fa impazzire durante i voli a tutta velocità, ma compensa con la sua facilità d'uso e stabilità. Se sei un pilota hardcore di FPV, potresti sentire la mancanza di un po' di quel brio che altri droni più potenti ti danno. Ma se vuoi solo divertirti e volare in modo sicuro e stabile, l’Avata è comunque una scelta azzeccata. 3. Immagini super fluide 🎥✨ L'Avata brilla davvero quando si tratta di riprese video. Con la stabilizzazione RockSteady 2.0 e HorizonSteady, ogni volo sembra girato con una camera professionale. Ho registrato voli lungo la costa e, seriamente, ogni immagine sembrava un videoclip musicale. Perfetto se vuoi fare contenuti spettacolari senza troppa fatica. Qualche punto debole: 1. Goggles 2: Qualità visiva top, ma scomodi sul naso DJI Goggles 2 sono fantastici in termini di qualità visiva. La risoluzione è super dettagliata, la latenza è praticamente zero, e ti fanno davvero sentire come se fossi a bordo del drone. Ma sono scomodi. Dopo 15-20 minuti di volo, ho iniziato a sentire una pressione fastidiosa sul naso. Non è insopportabile, ma decisamente non li indosserei per ore senza fare pause. Ho provato ad aggiustarli mille volte, ma la scomodità rimane. Un miglioramento nel design per la comodità sarebbe stato il top. 2. Durata della batteria 🔋 Il solito difetto dei droni FPV: la batteria vola via troppo in fretta! I 18-20 minuti di autonomia non sembrano mai abbastanza, specialmente quando ti stai divertendo così tanto. Se vuoi davvero goderti lunghe sessioni di volo, le batterie extra sono un must. 3. Non super performante in acro Come ho detto prima, in modalità Acro, l'Avata è molto divertente, ma non aspettarti che tenga testa ai droni FPV più potenti e agili. Non è progettato per volare come una scheggia tra gli ostacoli a velocità folle. Se sei uno di quei piloti che cercano il massimo delle prestazioni acrobatiche, potresti trovarlo un po' "calmo". Ma se sei un principiante o vuoi semplicemente un’esperienza FPV stabile e divertente, sarà più che sufficiente. Conclusione 🎉 Il DJI Avata Pro-View Combo con DJI RC Motion 2 è perfetto se stai cercando un'esperienza FPV facile e divertente. Il controller basato sul movimento è geniale e rende il volo accessibile a tutti. La modalità Acro è davvero una chicca per divertirsi con qualche acrobazia, anche se non è il massimo delle prestazioni per chi cerca potenza pura. I Goggles 2 sono un sogno per la qualità visiva, ma potrebbero diventare scomodi dopo voli prolungati. Un consiglio utile è anche quello di acquistare qualche batteria in più per avere più libertà possibile

Apparently somebody decided to buy a new one and return the old on in its box and get their money back. The Avata I received wasn't wrapped, the safety seal was broken and it showed signs of being flown into things and the entire thing was dusty like it had been sitting on a shelf. All of the packaging on the charger and replacement props were ripped open and the USB cord was missing entirely. Not sure how this got through the return department and sent back out as a new item. When I went to send it back for a replacement the only option it gave me was a full refund. I talked to a customer service representative through the chat and they told me they'd sent out my replacement and sent me the return shipping label to my e-mail. After waiting an hour and still not receiving the e-mail or seeing the replacement order in my orders I contacted support again to discover the first agent never actually put in for my replacement. Luckily the second agent was much more helpful. They had to get it approved by their supervisor but was able to process my replacement and I received a new wrapped Avata the next day. The drone itself is awesome. I bought some bumper guards to go over the plastic and an aluminum gimbal protector to go on the front. I've been flying it around the house zipping around corners. Already hit a few things and crashed a few times but the drone hasn't taken any damage with the add-ons I put on it. Great indoor drone. Much more fun to fly indoors than my DJI FPV. You can be more bold with it knowing that the propellers won't end up hitting the walls and send the drone crashing. If you bump something hard enough it will still probably crash though. This will my go-to drone for indoor filming and filming in wooded areas with lots of trees.

Ich muss sagen, dass ich wirklich ganz lange gezögert habe und unzählbare Rezensionen gelesen und Video-Reviews der Drohne geschaut habe, ehe ich mich zum Kauf durchringen konnte. Dass meine erste FPV eine DJI werden würde, war mir im Prinzip klar, da ich über die Phantom Serie und später mehreren Mavics von der Marke überzeugt war. Für den Hobbybereich einfach toll. Überzeugt hat mich letztendlich die Möglichkeit, das FPV Feeling relativ schnell durch die Nutzung des Motion Controllers zu erfahren. Zur Drohne selber und dem Lieferumfang kann man im Netz genug lesen. Und jeder, der hier nach der Avata sucht, hat sich zuvor zur Genüge informiert, weshalb ich hier nicht auf technische Details eingehen möchte. Ich möchte nur bestätigen, dass man wirklich ohne vorherige Erfahrungen mit FPV oder Drohnen im Allgemeinen ganz schnell und easy zum Piloten wird. Es macht von der ersten Sekunde einen riesen Spaß und ist intuitiv und schnell erlernbar. Das komplette Installieren und Setup der Goggles, Drohen und des Controllers ist gut beschrieben und kinderleicht. Die Drohne steuert sich wie in einem Videospiel und durch die Goggles ist es, als würde man an Bord sitzen. Ich war vollkommen sprachlos und bin noch immer total begeistert. Man entwickelt schnell ein Gefühl für die Drohne und traut sich auch recht schnell, mal durch ein Tor zu fliegen oder unter einer Bank hindurch. Abstürze steckt die Kleine auch erstaunlich gut weg, da das Gehäuse sehr robust ist. Für mich die schönste Erfahrung in Sachen Drohne, die ich gemacht habe. Für dramatische Landschaftsaufnahmen behalte ich eine Mavic, aber für alles Andere kommt nur noch die Avata mit. Mit dem Flight Controller und etwas Übung kann man mit der AVATA noch viel mehr anstellen... Mit dem Motion Controller fliegt sie weiterhin stabilisiert und durch die Notbremse auch sehr sicher. Für Einsteiger bestens geeignet und auch der versierte Pilot wird im Acro Mode seinen Spaß finden, wenn das Monster von der Leine gelassen wird.
