Much Smaller Than It Looks
I didn't expect this thing to be huge, but it sure is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I honestly have a hard time coming up with a usage scenario for this. You'd be far better off with a foldable aluminum work platform or just a ladder. Also, the thing is so flimsy, I'd be kinda worried to step on it. I guess it is fine for a small Asian person, but certainly not for the average American dude. However, if you are pretty light, and you look for a very lightweight thing, then this might be it. But even then, it seems to me there are better alternatives. For my use, it turned out to be a complete waste, because it is just so darn small, and you can't raise the platform very much.

Sturdy and lightweight
I'm not sure why so many people seem to have issues with this scaffolding. I've been remodeling an old townhouse and this scaffolding has proven itself to be invaluable. When painting or doing any work on the ceiling, it's normally quite a nuisance to have to climb up and down a ladder repeatedly to move it a foot over. With this scaffolding, I can work on larger sections at a time. It's also easier to maintain my balance on a flat surface. I love that it's lightweight and yet very sturdy. Some people might think that it's not sufficiently sturdy because it's so lightweight, but that's what is so awesome. You can move it with a single finger because of the weight, and yet the material is very durable, so it feels very sturdy and stable. I also love that it can be converted to a number of different shapes to accommodate various needs. My only issue is that the lowest setting isn't quite low enough, but that's probably a unique problem to have. The ceilings in this townhouse are kind of low, so the lowest setting on the scaffolding is a little too high, but I would rather have to bend down a little than have to use a regular ladder.

Sturdy enough, but poorly designed to change modes.
They work as a platform, or as a ladder, but changing from one to the other is a PITA, as is dismantling the platform assembly for travel, or to change deck height. There are better units out there, would have been easy to design it in.Not recommended. Shop about.

Unbelievable- doesn’t fit staircase
The scaffold base is so long it doesn’t fit on my stairs. Wasted money. Seems lightweight and pretty decent quality but doesn’t do what I need it to, so I’d give it 0 stars if I could.Back to square 1.

Doesn't fit
The board only fits between the wider stairs. So now what?

This unit is going to let me accomplish the chores around the house I've been putting off for lack of a ladder. The user information has 3 configurations listed as its listed functions, but I have seen a couple other ways I can use it too. It is super-lightweight and that is crucial for me being able to use it. The very last day of me working on a jobsite professionally saw me fighting a tall, heavy aluminum extension ladder in the high winds of Wyoming - lesson learned to say the least of it. This unit is going to save me a LOT of risk of injury.I can see a lot of potential pinch-points to keep eyes on. Assembly with bolts and wingnuts adds more assembly/teardown time over pins and cotter keys, but that's nothing crucial. I'm glad beyond glad to be able to get a unit that I know I can handle and use without being too concerned about another crash-and-burn. Minimizing and/or removing such risks for myself at this point is crucial as I can ill-afford another injury.

I'd rather use my old ladders with a board between
Packaging is more than needed with extra cardboard, plastic and lots of ties that need to be cut. Took a while to get it all out even though there aren’t that many pieces. Ironically, nuts and bolts were loose all over inside the box. I think they all came, instructions don’t match what you get.Instructions are not only limited but don’t match the material. For instance it shows using only one hole to bolt the feet on each side but there are 4 holes and enough bolts.Bolts are too long in every case. The feet are extremely wide limiting where you can place this. You could get two normal step ladders side by side.Putting the scaffolding together is awkward. I was hoping for snap together but it has to be bolted. Pieces have to be tilted to get them to fit. Legs tilted against the platform and having to hold both at the same time aligning the bar to bolt it. Unnecessarily difficult. After all that you only get two locations to place the platform height. I’m 5’ 10” top level I hit my head on the ceiling. Lower position is too low for a lot of projects. For whatever reason like an after thought one leg has 3 brackets on 3 different steps. Some of the legs have dents.Taken apart you have 2 long legs, medium length but heavy platform and 4 support bars. Takes up about two step ladders to store this. They list the scaffold platform as 40 inches from floor but its actually 39.This can also be made into a step ladder or straight ladder but I have plenty of ladders so I don’t need more. It’s a lot easier to get out to ladders and place a 2x12 between them then use this thing. The one good thing is the frame is very light but the platform is a bit on the heavy side.
