Look Of Love Multichannel/Stereo

A great talent drowning in a sea of overproduced strings straining unsuccessfully for 'atmosphere ' .Avoid if you are into jazz and if you are looking for high class piano/vocal go to the Elaine Elias store where even her cds with orchestral backing have the lightest touch and provide a frame for her genius miles ahead of the dirge poor Diana had to contend with here.

I purchased the CD - A night in Paris by Krall and loved it. And so on the back of that CD, I purchased this one but found the songs a little bit more dull and not much repertoire or variety in the songs. Krall's voice seems to go from one song to the next almost as though the songs co-mingle. That said, she does have a sweet voice and the CD generally is relaxing and soothing and makes for a good quiet evening-in CD or a relaxing playing CD in the car. I think 4 star is a fair assessment. As a side note, she looks amazing on the CD cover .

Nothing to dislike about this CD. It is soothing, enjoyable, and relaxing. I love all her music and would highly recommend.

Always enjoy listening to Diana Krall. Great mood music. Very easy to listen to.

I now have 7 Diana Krall CD's including this one. I love her versions of songs from 'The Great American Songbook', and also she is an excellent singer & pianist.This CD arrived within the stated delivery dates, and it was in excellent condition (as are all the CD's I order from Zoverstocks)

Easily one of the best SACDs out there. Qualifies for relaxed listening at lower volumes or for a proper show off of your multi-channel system at higher volumes.. Very engaging mastering.

I gave it 5 stars because Diana Krall can do no wrong by me (apart from maybe 'Girl In The Other Room' which is a level or two down on what she normally puts out).Point is, what is it with some of this stuff never getting the tracklist published? What..., is it a secret? Come on Amazon, tell us what's on the bonus disc. Don't be shy, now.
