This lead has turned out to be a great buy, firstly the quality is of a high standard it's not too bulky and is very easy to use.The lead we had for our dog wasn't very long , walks with our dog we're not enjoyable at all the constant pulling me telling my dog to stop pulling 😤, now with our new lead he has 8m of easy controllable freedom, it is very easy to retract the lead when needed and I have found our walks more enjoyable.And with the poo bag holder there is no more looking in every pocket to find the bags.There are many different colours to choose from I chose black.Over all the lead works to a high standard and was a great purchase 😃

Handle feels nice to hold and very comfortable, I've got 2 dogs so wanted a lead that could hold more than what they weigh.Feels quite weighty but it's to expected for an 8m length, the lock feels good enough but I've only got 2 pugs, I'm happy with the length and seems sturdy enough plus it has a poo bag holder,very happy with item for the price, and appearance

This lead is overall very good, but does have a couple of issues that have led to me giving it 4 stars. First issue is the lock button which at times is very stiff & hard to push on causing non lock on the lead. It feels that the button is at times to far to reach with the thumb & slippery when in wet conditions.The other thing that does affect this lead is the actual lead thickness (half inch) which can be a real problem in the windy conditions as it vibrates & flaps quite badly when extended.This product is well made of tough plastic & the lead is made from a strong fabric & a great length of 26ft with a good metal connector at the end. You also get a poo bag holder attached, supplied with a roll of bags installed so you're ready to go. I do recommend this product as it has more +'s than -'s for me.

I've had a few leads and I must say I've just had the best walk with this one.Really smooth and a nice weight to hold. Great 👍 😃

We brought the retractable lead for dogs upto 50 kilo. The lead worked very well for 4 months then unfortunately the lock wouldn't work. Upto then I was very happy with product especially the 8 meter length.As it was over the 4 week period for Amazon to replace it, they suggested I contact the company directly. I honestly thought that it would be a fighting battle to get anywhere with trying to replace it. I couldn't of been more wrong!!!.Pecute customer service was outstanding. After a couple of emails and they requesting a video of the lead not working, they replaced it within a week.I was more than happy with the way they sorted out the problem.

Unfortunately what looked like a strong decent lead its lock button was jamming from first use. On 2nd use the lock button completely jammed so is no longer usable. Have asked for a refund

Enjoyed great dog walk on the beach using this quality, retractable and easy to use lead. Gave our dog more freedom, perfect.

Great long lead (longest with reflective that is strong enough for a German shepherd). The only issue I have is if you don’t lock it with an inch of lead hanging out then it locks with the lead fully retracted and can be awkward to get it to release and extend otherwise great I use it daily

I thought I’d try the leash for a few months before writing a review. I walk a 80 lb dog with it. I like the extra length of the leash as well as the highly reflective strip on it. The locking mechanism works well as I’ve had to use it quickly when approached by other dogs or surprised hares. It can be a bit tricky to release the lock once engaged though. I’ve had no issues so far with the retraction mechanism. It was the reason I had to replace my last leash. The large handle is nice as it fits the warm leather gloves I use during winter walks.

I"ve purchased 4 of these now...Really love this item, but dog likes play chew it while bouncing around on walks..First one broke due to chewing and retracted into the reel so I couldn't fix it...I purchased a 2nd and wrapped the end with enough duct tape so that he is discouraged from chewing and if it were to break, it would stop at the entry to the reel and I'll be able to repair..'Added feature I'd like to see if a side pouch for phone, keys and treats when you don't have pockets..Use this in rain and shine and it works perfectly... He's finally figuring out what his range is so he's not pulling my shoulder out...Really enjoying this as puppers has room to roam... the lock mechanism works well and very happy so far with the durability... good value..Well its October 31 and I got this in July... re-examining how this failed and it was not where the leash fabric is attached to the metal connector, but where he was chewing the leash..This doggy has regularly pulled this leash very hard as he's running, so I'll buy another and put something on the leash to keep him from teething on it.. Buying another... the mechanisms are rock solid on this product and I see this is a problem with other leashes of this typeJune 2024: Swimming with doggy in our lake for a few hours, submersing the Pecute..thought it was going to rust... Nope... still works like new.. In addition to adding a stop at the front of the ribbon, would be great to have a pocket attachment for keys or money..

Very nice retractable dog leash, only time will tell in the long run if it lasts. So far very happy with it.

Veramente un bel prodotto, sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa, una bella scatola ben presentato, lo uso per la mia cagnolina di 12 kg che ha già rotto due guinzagli (presi al supermercato) in quanto in passeggiata tira e non parliamo se vede un gatto rischio la lussazione della spalla. Il guinzaglio é resistente, fantastico, sento che potrei portare un toro, infatti attutisce bene i tiraggi improvvisi della mia cagnolina, passeggiata piacevole finalmente. Inoltre incluso questo osso portasacchettini con un sacchetto incluso che si applica al guinzaglio. Fantastico.
