This boat is great for starters who don’t want something too fast or too slow. The remote is easy to use and the boat goes exactly where it should. The boat comes with 2 batteries each lasting 20 mins once fully charged. You do need a big enough space to use this boat ie a lake as a bath would be too small. Overall it is great fun and I would recommend.

I bought this for my daughter as she loves boats. We have a great collection at home for her. She loves to play with it at a ports meadow near our house when we have our afternoon walks...Works best in deeper water so the propeller doesn’t get caught.Easy to control and lots of funThis is such a fun, fast and responsive for such a small boat, actually it's more of a jet ski. The remote control is ultra simple to use, one lever for power and a dial knob for turning.The boat's headlight lights up when you put it in the water and turns off when you take it out. I'm assuming that this is auto power on and off.The remote has a little switch and a green led to in indicate that it's on.This boat exceeded my expectations, it functions correctly . I have had no issues, I'm ready to order another for a race with my daughter...The remote control is easy to use, with forward/reverse/left/right controls. The boat is really responsive, and moves around the water really quickly. The "reverse" is a bit useless as you might expect and just seems to make it tread water.The instructions could be better, but the boat is great fun once you get it going - and it was a nice touch to supply a spare battery so you can have one charged up and ready to go (and you can quickly swap them out without tools)Further to this review I must add that Symatoy have the greatest customer service I have ever encountered. They offered me everything imaginable to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase.What a great toy and company to deal with, quick responses and so very helpful.

I bought a pair of these for the kids and they're a real blast.Self-righting, waterproof and can take a bashing out on the water.The local model boat nerds were very impressed.Battery life is around eight minutes each (you get two batteries), changing the battery is pretty easy, maybe 60 seconds once you get used to doing it.The speed is not stellar at 20kmh but for such small boats that's still pretty impressive and we had great fun bashing the boats into each other on the local model boating lake.One of them ended up being submerged for a few seconds after being hit by the other boat but it floated back up and just carried on like nothing had happened - the local boat nerds were convinced it was lost and roared with laughter when it came back up and carried on :)Great fun and highly recommended - I'd like to see bigger/longer-lasting batteries but other than that these are hard to criticise even though they're obviously more expensive than many competitor's offerings.

A bit expensive, but plenty of fun. Would recommend buying extra battery pack as about 20mins is all you get from one charge.
