FUN!
Very smooth movements when trying to solve, sturdy, vibrant colors. Great value for the price.

Smaller than a regular sized Rubik's Cube
Much smaller than I realized! Thought it was regular size, instead travel/mini sized IMO. Very loosey-goosey too but better than so tight the layers catch on corners & jam.

MoYu Mei Long 3 :D
I've always wanted a black stickerered cube like this for my collection. I was a little curious about what I'd receive because no brand was mentioned in the description, but was super happy when I received it and saw that it was a MoYu Mei Long 3, MF8841. This is a decent brand that I've heard a lot of people mention, and a super nice budget cube. The price is very low, and I've seen a little bit lower at specialty cube shops, so it is very affordable. There are no magnets and it has very basic tension adjustment, there are no special tools needed, just a philips head screwdriver. It's a solid design, all the pieces fit together nicely, the stickers are placed with care and centered very well. It turns very smoothly, it's lightweight and quiet with excellent corner cutting, the pieces are snug and I don't think it would explode unless you're turning extremely fast and aggressively, which I do not. The packaging is simple, thin cardboard with no extra pieces, no tools, no stand or carrying pouch, just a little instruction pamphlet, hence the great price. I have no problems or complaints at all, and it's a cube that would easily allow you to get your personal best times. Mine worked great right out of the box with no lubrication, and it binds less than the 6-year old cube that I've been using. My only issue is that it's a bit hard for me to get used to the small amount of color that is visible, so I'm not recognizing the cases very quickly, and I'm also over 50 with pretty poor eyesight, so it's hard for me to distinguish between yellow and white in low light conditions, so that's where the older cube has the advantage, the yellow is much darker, but for the price this is an excellent cube, and would be phenomenal for the beginner. Sorry to say it, but a better alternative than the traditional Rubik's brand which is very hard to turn in comparison. Thank you.

Obsessed is an understatement for my kid
My son quickly became obsessed with these cubes and ever since, has asked me to get him different varieties. All in all, he now has about a dozen, and this speed cube quickly became a favorite. It has good range of motion too. Only being 5, with no help from me, ha was recently able to watch himself how to solve one! Oh, yea... back to this speed cube. It's great, and you should get it. That is all!

Chose this to learn with
I can throw this in a pocket and the turns are very loose and smooth. I'm not a speed cuber, still it's easy to overshoot the turn but not to the point you can't make your next turn, I can still usually do the next move without correction. My main complaint is I can't tell the yellow and white apart in low light. I tried to color the black with a colored permanent marker but it didn't stay on bright enough. Next move might be to mark the whites with a white nail polish dot in the middle or something.

Fun puzzle with a carbon fiber design and a textured feel
This puzzle is interesting with its carbon fiber stickers that gives the cube a unique look and a textured feel. The carbon fiber stickers have a nice pattern that covers all but the edges of each colored piece. The colors on the edges are clearly visible with a clear difference in each color. The cube turns quickly and smoothly while being on the looser side. The textured feel of the carbon fiber stickers and high quality plastic feels excellent in the hands. I would recommend this to cubers looking for a decent speed cube with a textured feel and/or a unique design!

Super smooth
I have never been a 'speed' person but ages ago I learned how to solve a cube as an interesting party trick. At the time I had one brand name cube I got as a gift. I still have that old one but wanted to get a newer one partially for display but also so my toddler can't destroy the old one. I looked at a bunch on Amazon but for some reason the prices got crazy. They seem to have all kinds of crazy features and gizmos but that is geared at speed and I am not interested in speed. I was very happy to find this one at a good price and I actually really like the faux carbon fiber look. The first thing that struck me is just how smooth this thing spins. My older brand name one actually feels clunky and stiff by comparison. It might almost be too smooth because I keep overspinning trying to do some of the motions. With practice this got better but also the corners are beveled enough that you can still turn it smooth even when the surface isn't squared because everything will align itself. I keep finding myself turning this thing just because the tactile feel is relaxing. My toddler likes to turn it as well and so far hasn't been able to damage it.I learned how to solve these ages ago my memorizing the algorithms and was actually surprised to see that this came with a little instruction book that lists the algorithms so you can learn how to solve it. They seem to work but they aren't the ones I learned.Very nice cube for a starter or even just as a 'fidget spinner' because its fun to twist.
