Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2: Angela

Unfortunately I didn't think much of this (and volume 1).The artwork is by several different artists and is mostly very good, but it is let down by poor plotting which jumps around a lot, and is not particularily believable.I didn't feel much in the way of sympathy for any of the characters. There is a cuddly but vicious furry animal who is good with gadgets and controls, and a Lord of the Rings ent-type tree person who can only say 'I am Groot', and is incidentally good with futuristic controls. Two other very powerful green people are also part of the team, who seem to be strong/good fighters, although I don't quite know why. The leader has a special gun!There is an extra person in here too, who is an even better fighter than the others, comes from 'Heven', is an angel, and doesn't wear much. Err. . . .The Earth is in danger from attack, but I don't know why. Perhaps they want to steal some money!It all goes off at an even faster pace than vol1, which keeps you sort of involved, and I suppose that is why I have given it 3 stars not 2, but I will not be buying any more of these.Oh; there were a few good smart-arse one liners too!

Great volume. Waiting on vol 3 to read vol 4. The story is great, illustration perfect. I love the characters.

I love Angela, I just wish she would be drawn with more than just tiddy armour and a belt.Decent comic.

Great follow up to the Cosmic Avengers. We get to know our spunky cast and what they're about a little more as well as get to see some great action.

Its not as good as Volume 1; but the artwork is good and the story is fun

I'm new to the series, really enjoyed Volume 1: Cosmic Avengers - I just felt this one was treading water too much. Still enjoyable though.

Great artwork and quite entertaining, but the story is very confusing. It seems like it lacks some context, possibly from some other comics, perhaps Ironman or Captain america.

I liked the story, if was a long but not to long the image had great detail and coloured very well, I real liked reading it
