This EXTREMELY simple yet well and thoughtfully designed birdhouse comes with all the screws & screwdriver that you need to assemble this birdhouse! Even all the screw holes are pre-drilled! I had the birdhouse put together in just a few minutes!! The hole is protected with a metal shield to prevent larger birds (like starlings) from widening thehole for their purposes. The front door hook allows you to easily & quickly clean out the birdhouse at the close of summer. It is so perfect that I had bluebirds checking it out in no more than an hour after I had mounted it outside!! Wow!!

I watched my has been put this together in less than seven minutes. Make sure you separate the long screws from the short ones. There’s only three long ones and they are securing it to the tree or post the short ones just use for putting the box together so that it’s cedar because it won’t, and it has a guard around the hole so the squirrels can’t dig at it. The guard is made out of brass very very very happy with this purchase. I ordered another one for my grandson to put together. It is pre-drilled and has it sunk in for the screw heads , it comes with a little tool to use, but it would take a long time. We use a ratchet screwdriver with the Phillips head. It looks great. I hope the bluebirds like it The price is fantastic too for this quality item. You won’t be. Sorry you purchased it.

Lovely little bluebird house! Well made. Went together just fine once I figured out which piece was which Directions show step by stepPictures but pieces could be labeled to make it easier. Nice wood and pre drilled holes. Came with screws and even two long screw to hang it with..Even came with a little screwdriver. I stained it to help protect it from the weather. I love that it has a metal plate around the opening to keep squirrels from chewing the opening bigger so they can get in and hurt the baby birds, which is the reason I'm replacing my old bluebird house. Very pleased with it and great service from the seller. Going to hang it up today and can't wait for the blue birds to move in! Will purchase again!

For once the reviews were accurate. These are good quality and easy to assemble. My complaint is they are meant to be fastened into trees. I intend to mount them on wooden poles which my husband says he can do. I read thoroughly and found nothing besides a photo about how to mount them.

This was so easy to put together, it only took about 5 minutes each (I bought 3). A friend came over to help me mount them on the trees and even he was impressed.It has a cute latch on the "front door" that will make it easy to clean out completely at the end of the season. It also has notches cut in for the fledglings to climb up. They really put a lot of great features and quality touches into this design. Looks pretty weatherproof as well and it is made of cedar so I am expecting them to last for years.I will buy more next year for sure!

We got this as a rainy day spring project to complete with our grandchildren - ages 6 and 8. It went together beautifully! All of the parts fit perfectly and the directions were clear and easy to understand. I prefer unpainted bird houses for birds so we left them in their natural state. We all had a great time! The children took them home and their dad put them on a post in the yard. I think birds moved with a couple months. Very good product. Good value!

This birdhouse was made much better than expected. Holes we’re countersunk to leave screws flush, everything lined up well and directions were easy to follow. Great value for the price and well made.

Within 5 minutes of me installing this 6 ft high on one of my pergola posts I had a black capped chickadee building a nest in it. Literally, 5 minutes. Very easy to assemble. Looks beautiful. Solid. Perfect size opening. Just purchased 2 more.
