Pelican #1930C L1 LED Flashlight

I needed a very small light and this unit by Pelican seems to fit the bill pretty well. For my purposes, I didn't need the lanyard. I had originally purchased this light because I wanted an unobtrusive pocket flashlight. After carrying this light in my pocket everywhere I went for a couple of weeks, I discovered one time that it had accidentally turned on while in my pocket. This is due to the push-button on/off switch being at the end of the flashlight; it is easily activated. I no longer use this as a pocket flashlight, but it certainly makes a nice bedside flashlight. It comes with a red lens and a green lens that you can install if you wish. I find that the green lens works well at night when I need light to get up from bed, but I don't want to shock my eyes with the full brightness of white light.

ive been using this light for about 12 years before I had to replace it. I purchased the same light again as it works great for flying in the helicopter under NVGs. The green filter works great however, I am not sure it is FAA approved. Regardless, this light works great for my needs and lasts a long time.

Really excellent small flashlight. I keep one of these with the red lens installed around my neck for overnight boating and use it for most tasks. I pull out the high power flashlight when needed, but the Pelican is sufficient 90% of the time and doesn't spoil night vision. No problem with getting wet from rain or splash. Battery life is very good.

For the size of the flashlight, it is awesome and versatile. Hang it around your neck, put it on your keychain, or clip it on your pocket. Water resistant too, plus lifetime guarantee! Made in the USA. Hard to beat. Only drawback, it is hard to change the battery. The upside is that you almost never need a new battery.

Great little flashlight

This is a great little. It is very bright and the lanyard is a great feature. It does have a little drawback, which is getting the batteries out of it to change them. I have two of these lights and to change the batteries I created a little tool with a paper clip that I use to pull the lamp base out.

Great flashlight but low lumens and way too expensive.

Item delivered on time, was as described. Great light would suggest anyone use this... Love this little light very powerful and haven't changed the battery in a year. Ordered several of them and put one in each vehicle. Love the strap or lanyard it come with to prevent loss. Great investment.
