Because of the reviews. I was anxious to open the package and see for myself. I ordered 2 and this review is for the blue and white dress. First, no weird smells so bonus there. But I was surprised at how sturdy (I'm using that adjective to counter flimsy) this dress is. It's fully lined and really well made. It's fully lined and both the lining and the dress fabric are divine. I was so incredibly and pleasantly delighted.So I hopped to it and tried it on. The strap length was perfect as is, but it's so nice that there are button adjustments in the back. I'm not normally a lover of a tube top type around the bust (I'm over 60) but this is modest and not at all cheap and weird feeling (I have an aversion to chasing my youth). I had a regular bra on, and it didn't align with the cut of the dress so I'll be wearing a strapless one when I really wear it. Side note: if you wear a shrug or jacket wearing a regular bra probably won't be an issue.I really don't care about no pockets. Sometimes they bow out next to the hips and don't sit nicely so I'd rather not have them at all.For sizing, Amazon recommended I choose XL. I chose L and I'm super happy I did (my measurements are in both size charts) but I used the reviews here and the fact that this isn't a form fitting dress or bodice to scale down. I'm 5' 8" tall and straddle sizes 14-16-18 depending on the cut and fabric.But the most exciting part is that everyone was right about the wrinkles: I put this on a hanger last night and this morning they are virtually all gone. So you can bet this is traveling with me soon!

I took out one star for the dress being overly heavy for me. The straps can be adjusted, which is greatThe style is flowy and feminine, the design is pretty, looks like in the pictureBut the whole item weighs too much and I feel pressure in my shoulders. I’m not sure if the fabric is breathable enough but the layered bottom part is quite dense, there’s underskirt even though it’s almost weightless.For summer hot days I definitely look for something lightweight though long and feminine.

I bought this dress for my daughter, it looks really good on her! I like the fit and quality. She can wear this in a variety of settings. The fabric is of a good quality and not see through, and it’s true to size but stretchy so if you are sort of in between a S/M or M/L etc, you can size down.The only thing is the straps are adjustible with buttons, and one of hers came off when she tried the dress on. It was no big deal, we just sewed the button back on and reinforced the other button too. So you might want to sew the buttons on more securely (there are only 2, 1 per strap).It’s a beautiful dress, my daughter wears it with dressy sandals, casual flip flops, and white sneakers and it all looks cute.

This is the cutest dress! I had to order 3 before I got the size that is right for me. It runs large. I normally wear an XL or L, but had to get an M to fit right. I am busty too. The fabric doesn't wrinkle and flows nicely. The design is pretty. I love it!Sadly, we returned from Scotland last night. The dress was packed in my carry on bag which I accidentally forgot to move with me when I picked up a food order. When I returned, it was gone, along with the dress and most of my clothes I took on the trip.

This dress! Very well made and flattering. Great quality and so cute. I love the material and print. I ordered small like Amazon suggested, I am 5'5", 130 lbs. medium build, and it fits perfectly. It will still fit perfectly if I gain a few lbs. I did cut out the liner because I personally found it to be stuffy feeling, and uncomfortable. However, the liner and details point to a quality well made garment. It you are on the fence just buy it, you won't regret it

I’m 5 foot 8, and my start weight was 135 before pregnancy and 160 at 40 weeks. The dress still fits even with having the baby. I ordered medium. I did end up cutting off the strings on the front for preference. This is a dress that requires a good bra, to make the ladies look good.I loved the dress personally, it’s really breathable and cool, a must during summer pregnancy. Love the pattern of this dress. It's amazing and just so flowy and beautiful on. My only wish is that it had adjustable straps so I will add elastic to the inside of the straps. Other than that, it's really nice fabric and beautiful. I am currently a size large and it's not too voluminous, so it doesn't add weight to your frame.
