A little difficult to assemble, but if you are at all mechanical it is very intuitive looking at the way the parts go together. My 5 year old grand daughter understood the assembly and loved it. She asks everyday when the plants will come up! Couldn't be a better, more thoughtful and educational gift, so much better than just another toy.

Great springtime gift for kids interested in gardening / outdoors. Could see using again and buying again for others. Fun and easy to use. Educational and interactive.

We got this as a fun way to teach about plant science and our kids have loved it. It’s made it through four different seed starts. Now we are trying to grow them without pots.The kids love the watering system. We did need to keep it closer to a window to charge the solar panel.

Nice kit for learning of kids on how to grow plants.My kid loved planting the seeds provided in the kit.Kit size is compact and can fit easily on any table or corner.much handy and knowledgeable project.

The instructions were a little weak; the clear panels didn't fit into the slots properly; pushing the brown parts down to snap into place takes a good amount of strength; not all parts 'snap' shut. There are some openings that shouldn't be there, so I don't know if a panel or more than one panel is not sized properly, etc. Because of the panel issue, one of the roof panels doesn't close all the way; The water holder holds water well, but the irrigation plastic 'tube' that goes along the top of the pots needs to be sloped better, the water only wets the first pot, although I did try moving/lifting the 'house' a bit to get it to wet all of them it still didn't happen, plus it almost broke open when lifting it like that, on the side where the funky clear 'wide' panels are.Includes a lot of nice stuff to get started but 'step 1' and 'step 2' really slowed me down, I think the panels I received and/or the brown pillars are defective, so it made a house but the house isn't quite as stable as it should be. I still planted seeds in the pots, and will use a water sprayer to wet the soil, hopefully they will sprout, even if there are 'cracks' in the house.

This was on my child's wishlist and someone got it for her as a gift. It's an interesting idea but has many design flaws. The watering system track isn't totally straight so water cannot travel to the farthest two nursery pots. Tried tilting it a bit and soil ended up spilling out and some pots got drowned while others had little water. Then we also realized that it is impossible to clean any sort of messes inside without disassembling the unit fully. There needs to be a way to lift the entire "house" portion off to be able to clean the tray underneath. Also, the nursery pots are difficult to place inside. We may experiment with plastic nursery pots since handling these cardboard ones after they have absorbed water is going to create a giant mess inside. The quality of the product in general is very poor. The instructions are full of errors and were clearly translated from Chinese. They are fairly incomplete. We haven't found anything else that replicates this same idea without the design flaws so I guess it gets a star for being a unique product to get kids interested in gardening. However, the design really needs improvement!

Haha I love showing my son ways of germinating growing etc and this is just perfect for that and too cute. 10/10
