I’m a fan of almost anything from Japan, but I use this in cooking Japanese cuisine. Yes, it’s all in Japanese, but it’s just chicken stock. I usually use one teaspoon per cup of hot water. Unlike American bullion it’s not as salty, and is lighter in color. This is not a powder to be used in big batch recipes, but rather delicate Japanese foods. Yes, it’s more expensive than what we’re used to, but I find that it’s not interchangeable.

I’m always searching for a better version of an instant bullion. Lee Kum Kee was my favorite until I tried this. Hands-down the most chicken flavor I’ve ever had in a broth. I compared them side-by-side 1 teaspoon powder in one cup of water.

Amazon kept delaying the delivery. Received 40 days after the order (I had to contact the customer support for the delay). And there’s no measuring spoons included! Product is good but I’d buy from somewhere else next time.
