Nice set - Easy to follow instructions but over priced
The media could not be loaded. A Ninjago Lego set which comes nicely boxed and with clear easy to follow numbered instructions and pieces in numbered packets.Takes several hours to construct by a 10 year old.Good quality as expected and would make a luxurious present for a child especially one who likes Ninjago. The only issue is that it’s quite expensive - for what you get. The size isn’t as large and as interesting as say the Star Wars set which costs about the same.Overall for fans of Ninjago

Amazing set, nice detailing, 1038 piece, 9yrs+
This LEGO 71796 set "Elemental Dragon vs The Empress Mech" is one of the larger sets from the NINJAGO Dragons Rising LEGO series. This set is made up of 1038 pieces & is aimed at kids aged 9+In the set you get Empress Beatrix's large mech figure as well as the large dragon Jiro figure, plus Jay's flyer vehicle & 7 mini figures, all of which had some really nice detailing to them. While Empress Beatrix can ride inside her mech & there is a saddle for the dragon, i love that Jay's flyer can be combined to the dragon figure giving it stud shooters on its wings as well as a better overall look with the additional pieces. Both the main figures have lots of articulation in the joints so they can be moved & posed in multiple positions which i thought was really good.As with all LEGO sets this set comes with the standard quality instruction booklet which i personally prefer to use while im building any sets myself, however with the last few sets we've got the kids have been using the LEGO builder app & have found it really helpful as they can zoom in & rotate the pieces on their device to help them put the sets together by themselves. Our eldest two have loved building & playing with this NINJAGO set so far.Although with their older NINJAGO sets they have started being creative & combining pieces from the different sets to make some unique characters of their own, which i love to see because that's whats LEGO has always been about, sparking creativity in young minds.Being one of the larger sets in the series it is quite expensive at £94.58 at the time of writing but would make an amazing Christmas or Birthday gift idea for anyone who's already started watching the Dragons Rising tv series or played with the NINJAGO sets in the past.Overall i was really impressed with this set & had two very happy boys.
