I'm not a drummer and I wanted to try something new.I wanted to get over my weird fear of sudden loud noises but it didn't quite work out, so I struggled actually using it.A drummer friend came by with his own Cajon to help writing songs, and tried it. At the end of the session, we ended up exchanging cajons because he thought mine was better.Drummer approved.
