I love it!The price is acceptable, not so pricy.#2: Ippodo: $1.55/gramSize 20gRating: 9/10I have used Ippodo for very long time like 8yrs, very good matcha overall, but its very pricey to use daily. Earthy taste, sweet, Intense and complex with an unmatched bright rich green color. This is a limited use Matcha for me because of the price.#3: Aki: $.60/gramSize 50gRating: 8.5/10Beside 30g version, this 50g version from Aki brought me a surprise. Come with $0.60/gr I thought it was just good as mid-price range, but actually its super tasty as well. Not so vibrant green color like the aki 30g size, but its taste so good, very sweet after taste, very smooth and creamy, sweet umami, nutty.I use this one as daily usucha matcha mornings.#4: Kyoto Dew: $0.83/gramSize 30gRating: 7/10A particularly good Matcha but lacks the high complexity of Ippodo and Aki. This is my 3rd purchase from this company. Love the taste and helps give my memory a good spark!! ARIGATO Aki Matcha!!On opening the packet there was a very floral aroma. It has a very verdant green colour with no bitterness at all. Aki has a very subtle grassy hint with a smooth and sweet after taste that is equally very good as a ceremonial tea or delicious matcha latte. Overall, very good quality matcha for such a great price! Highly recommended. 🍵

It's worth the hype in New York city!As a self-proclaimed matcha snob, I can be quite picky when it comes to matcha brands.During my trip in NYC, I bought a matcha drink from 5th ave nyc, saw the sign showed proudly served aki matcha...then I tried buying from amazon to make it myself at home.This matcha exceeded all my expectations! Their ceremonial matcha is top-notch and definitely lives up to its ceremonial grade. The bright green color and fine, silky texture indicate its high quality. When I took my first sip, I was blown away by the rich umami flavor and the absence of any bitterness.

if you enjoy making matcha lattes at home I think this is a great choice, nice smooth flavor subtle sweetness no grassy taste

It arrived quickly and I immediately make a cup of tea. First the color was that perfect light green. Then the smell, oh, it had that wonderful smell that only good quality matcha can have. Taste, umami, sweet, creamy, so good I wanted another cup right away. I read the negative reviews and for the price was expecting a lower quality but I was rather surprised that it was such good quality at this price point. This will now be my regular go-to brand. Bravo and cheers for the grower and processor of this wonder matcha!

I ordered this matcha green tea powder a couple weeks ago and seriously, I am already addicted to this matcha ever since the first day. Right after I opened this bag, I am hit with the wonderful aroma of matcha. It has a very fresh vegetal sweet smell. The color of this matcha as you can see in the picture are so vibrant and beautiful. I bought a couple of matcha powders before and they are not this vibrant. The other matcha powders are always so dull looking and they ended up making the drink a brownish color. But not with this matcha, they will definitely make a beautiful green matcha latte or smoothie. Beside from the color, this matcha has the best blending power and freshness. It blends so well and you different won’t feel or taste any clumps at all. Also, the flavor is very rich, smooth, and earthy. You can adjust the flavor to suit your taste by adjusting how much powder versus milk/water (and optionally, some sweetener) that you put in. I will definitely rrecommend this matcha powder to all of my friends. Love it!
