An enjoyable film - good fun to watch. Diane Lane is always worth watching in whatever she does.

I chose this DVD after seeing it on TV. In todays hectic way of life and so much violence - when did you last see and hear "good news" on TV - I found this a very relaxing film.There was no clever,complicated plot just simple "boy meets girl" and despite the odds fate takes a hand and we all live happily everafter.Maybe I'm getting old but the pleasure this film gave me then so be it. As usual my order was delivered in perfect condition and on time which is what I have come to expect (with pleasure) from Amazon.Once again congratulations.

I must confess that the 5-star rating is partly due to my partiality towards Diane Lane and John Cussack. This is not as well-written or mad rom-com as Cussack and Kate Beckinsale's 'Serendipity', but it is not too heavy on the despair portions of a rom-com, so your heart won't be taxed too much, and each step of the way, you somehow feel that it is definitely going to end well. The support cast is wonderful. This is an early (2010?) online dating situation with all the misfits, and the near fits. Ultimately, love triumphs. You will have a nice evening. Watchable a second time? Definitelty.

Love this film- just the best feelgood movie, have watched it several times and it always leaves me feeling warm and happy!

Good film

I loved this film the first time I watched it and decided after renting it 5 times that maybe I should buy it.A lovely, heart-warming film which gives hope to all those suddenly single at a difficult age, people who have interfering, but well-meaning family members!An interesting and amusing take on the use of internet dating sights and the kind of people you could meet.All in all a great feel-good film.

I , a mail pensioner, found this film lighthearted and reasonably intelligent in its story line. The characters are is believable and the acting first rate. I would recommend to all over 25
