PACK OF 10 - UltraSwim Chlorine Removal Shampoo, 7 oz

I have very long hair (falls to mid-back) and I swim laps 3-4x a week. This shampoo is amazing at getting rid of the chlorine in my hair! (Because wearing a cap doesn’t prevent the hair from getting wet!) I was really happy that I found it on Amazon - previously I found it at Walmart and was my bottle was recently running low, and I didn’t want to have to go back to Walmart to get it. Fast shipping, and the caps were taped over to make sure nothing leaked en-route!Highly recommend for anyone who swims! I have dark brown hair, never dyed, so not sure if this helps blonde hair to not turn green due to chlorine.I swim in the evenings so I just put my wet hair in a bun after I shower (and I shower in the mornings); I wouldn’t want to use this if I started my mornings swimming and had to go about my day after using this shampoo, though, because it is a moisturizing shampoo (for obvious reasons), and I have very oily skin and hair, so I stay away from shampoos that exacerbate that issue. But since I don’t style my hair after using this, it’s not an issue for me, but might be for others who also don’t like using moisturizing shampoo.EDIT: I noticed on the back of the bottle it does say it helps with blonde hair not turning green, for any ladies who were curious about that issue.JULY 2018 EDIT: Another thing I wanted to mention is that this shampoo really does take the chlorine smell out of your hair! The shampoo itself doesn’t have a special scent - other than just a soapy smell.I attached a photo of my hair type for reference. I’ve never dyed my hair so I’m not sure how this shampoo would affect dyed hair. My hair is fine and naturally straight and the shampoo works great getting the chlorine out.

Works as advertised, and keeps the chlorine from getting into your skin. I used it while swimming on a daily basis at my local pool for exercise. It doesn't really have a smell, but helps reduce any chlorine smell left on your body. You can use it as body wash as well, as it helped keep my skin a little bit less dry than when I used it instead of normal body wash after swimming.The containers shipped with some tape on the tops to prevent leaking, which I thought was a very nice touch, and they haven't leaked at all since they arrived at my house.It's most effective right after swimming, as I learned after bringing it to the pool showers with me. They need a thorough scrubbing in general all over your body to really take effect, namely to get the pool smell out. Aside from that, works as advertised. No complaints here!

Favorite chlorine removal shampoo.

I am in a pool 3-4 days a week and this product works wonderfully to minimize the Cl smell and damage to my hair.

I've tried so many shampoos to take the yellow out of my platinum gray hair to no avail. These were famous brands too. Then I started to go to the pool a couple of times a week and bought this stuff. Come Winter I stopped going to the pool and went back to using my expensive blue shampoos to remove the yellow with pitiful results. Then it dawned on me one day that the yellow might be froml the clorine in the water in our home. So, I decided to give this shampoo a try. What could I lose? Well, this is the best "anti-yellowing" shampoo available. It removed the harsh yellow from my hair and amazingly I don't even use conditioner now and my waist long hair is less tangled than ever. This product is outstanding and I am making it my only shampoo from here on. I wish I had known it would do this as I would have taken pictures but alas itis now to late to show my beautiful plantinum silver hair without the brassy yellow cast.

I first bought this product for after swimming laps but recently tried it for after scuba diving in the ocean. I frequently go on 1-2 week dive trips where I do 3 or more dives a day for a total time in the water of 3 plus hours daily. This shampoo works great for restoring your hair after diving.

I am a swimmer and even though I wear a cap, my hair was still being damaged from the pool chemicals. I use this shampoo and a different conditioner plus a leave in conditioner. My hair is soft and manageable--and I have really curly, down the back hair. I am so happy that a young friend told me about this shampoo so long ago--it is the best to use if you swim a lot.

I swim in a chlorinated pool and so bought this to counter the chlorine build-up in my hair. It does do that job well, but because it is SO runny, you have to be careful not to pour too much out and waste product. Scent is okay--kind of an old-fashioned shampoo scent that is not my favorite. I definitely recommend using a conditioner after using this product.
