Great product. Comfortable to wear.
I bought these splints to stop a crooked finger from getting worse. I like that there are 3 different sizes in the package. That way I can use them on other fingers if necessary or if my crooked finger is swollen. I saw reviews that said the sizing was off, but I measured my finger, ordered the recommended size, & the fit was perfect. The splint stays on well, is comfortable to wear, & straightens my finger while it’s on. The finger stays straight for quite awhile after I take it off. I mostly wear it just at night. I work as a gardener, & my hands are in & out of gloves & dirt all day, so I’d probably end up losing the splint if I wore it to work. Around the house, I can do almost anything while wearing the splint. It’s hard for me to write while wearing the splint, but other than that, it’s fine. I’m glad I bought it.

GREAT Product
I went to the hand doctor for my mallet finger and they custom made me a finger splint. It is thick and very annoying but I was committed to wearing it as directed. There were certain situations where it was very cumbersome (e.g. showering, washing dishes, etc.) to have it on so I searched for an alternative. Fortunately I found an awesome product that fit my needs perfectly. Such a minimalistic design but so effective. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best. If you measure your finger as directed you should get the correct size. I did. I walk early in the morning and now being cold outside couldn't put on a pair of gloves with the custom splint but this splint is perfect and allows me to put on my glove. Highly recommend.

Best way to splint for mallet finger
As a retired hand surgeon with over 50 years of experience, I do have some comments. The only truly effective way to splint the distal joint of a finger in full extension is to apply a splint on the top (dorsum). Anything applied to the under (volar) side will still allow some degree of flexion, as does yours and the Stack splint. I currently have a mallet finger that has been splinted dorsally for 6 weeks. As I transition back to flexion, I plan to use your splint at an adunct to return of function, but could not have done so from the beginning.

Good Finger Splint
This product is a strong, minimal, and lightweight finger splint. It's definitely useful if you injured your finger and need to have a more minimal and light splint to prevent your finger from bending. I prefer this over the bulky finger splints. PROS: - Small and lightweight. - Strong to secure finger from bending. - Minimal and not bulky. - Can stack two together to make a stronger and stiffer finger splint. - Comes in a pack with 3 different sizes to provide a good fit. - Can easily put on and take off IF the size is a good fit. CONS: - Would prefer something more flexible, the material is stiff, and was expecting more give to the finger splint. - Has 3 different sizes per size group, so can't have more than one of a specific size without ordering more. - Wearing for long periods of time can be too restrictive and uncomfortable, but can easily be put on and taken off. I would recommend this finger splint if you want something more minimal compared to a bulky finger splint. It's small and light enough to be able to wear while also easy to take off and put on when needed. If the size is not a good fit, definitely reach out to Alan. He was able to send me a different size free of charge to make sure I had the right fit.

Amazing customer service and exactly what I needed.
I am an artist and have arthritic fingers. One of the things I create are embellished jackets, and these use a lot of finger strength, pushing through denim and sometimes up to three layers of fabric and adhesive. Part of the difficulty I face is hyper extension of my fingers and I realized these splints could really help. After measuring my fingers, I settled on size 5-7. I immediately tried them on, and was able to work, pain free! While this size technically fit, I wanted to layer the splints so I could keep my thumb especially steady. Emailing Alan, the business owner, I asked if just one size up could be purchased. He promptly responded and immediately and graciously sent me the entire next size set free of charge. This will allow me to work with them layered, and especially on my aching thumb and ring finger, this is a game changer! This does exactly what I hoped it would do, keeping my joints in a neutral position, so I’m neither hyper extending nor contorting my fingers to weird positions. Thank you so much for a product that will allow me to keep creating, and for standing behind your sizing guarantee!

Plastic Toys
These are like Happy Meal toys. Who makes crap like this!? China. That’s who. Too tight or too loose. Sharp edges on all sides and plastic is cheap and flimsy. Way overpriced too.

Okay for the price
I've been having trouble with arthritis in a couple of my fingers and my doctor said some people swear that these types of things help. I think it might be a little too soon to tell if it's going to work or not. I'm only wearing it at night as I have to be able to bend my fingers during the day. The time when they bother me most is in the mornings so wearing at night makes sense. I find them a little uncomfortable as the plastic is pretty stiff, maybe it has to be but if it was slightly softer I think I would like it better. I measured my fingers before ordering and am happy that 2 of the 3 fit pretty well. If I get more I'll probably get a smaller size for my other fingers. The 5,6,7 pack fits my index and middle finger and size 7 fits my thumb, but it's not needed for my thumb. Overall, for the price, about $5.00, I think it is worth trying.
