This is your every-day EDC
I own several Civivi knives. I find that their quality-to-pricepoint ratio makes them a good deal. The Mini Praxis is no exception. The fit and finish are outstanding. No flaws and the blade is centered perfectly. No wobble and the blade deploys with ease with a flick of the finger. Solid lockup with the linerlock that releases easily. Handy blade shape with a useful finger choil and a little jimping on the spine if you want to choke up on it a little. Sharp out of the box; sliced through newspaper easily with little pressure. The G10 is slightly grippy, fits the hand well, & no hotspots detected. The deep-carry pocket clip is substantial and would be hard to break. This is an esthetically pleasing knife. Slender, lightweight, functional without an alarming appearance. This is definitely a tier one EDC for me. The only issue I may have is that it's D2 steel. Sure, I could have purchased the fancy limited edition with S35VN but I'm not a fan of carbon fiber. A Mini in 14C28N at $35 or so would really be sweet. You're not going to baton stainless steel or dress out a grizzly with it. What you will do is open boxes, cut string, slice apples, and other daily tasks and you'll do it with ease. Buy it. It's a great value.

Exceptional for the price!
Been collecting knives for a few years now, and this feels like a knife twice its price. It’s also not too small if that’s a concern, at least not unless you have particularly large hands. The blade is about the same size and the handle is ever so slightly shorter than my current favorite knife, the Ontario RAT II. It feels built at least as well in my opinion, it’s a nice looking knife but I wouldn’t be afraid to beat on it either. It also came in a nice case with a cleaning cloth as well. The action is particularly nice especially for the price. I’ve gone ahead and ordered an Elementum in advance of potential price increases on imported goods because I was just that impressed by the quality of this $30 knife.

Knife is great, supply chain needs work.
I'm a big fan of the mini praxis pattern. I bought the D2 verion first and this damascus one. My D2 one didn't seem to hold an edge very well which was disappointing, but thats a story for another time. This damascus one seems great. Nice wood scales and good looking damascus. Fit and finish are good, lock up is solid. Flipper deploys like normal smooth civivi. Pretty good value when the character of the wood and unique pattern of the damascus considered.Only issue i had was after ordering, shipment was delayed twice then was just sitting in que for a coulpe weeks.

It’s worth the money
For the price it’s worth every dollar! Blade is super smooth and razor sharp, and it fits in my hand perfectly

High quality and comfortable design.
I was looking for a "smaller" pocket knife, that was fairly low profile, easily concealed, yet that felt comfortable in my hand.I ordered a few different smaller pocket knives, that all turned out to be decent choices. But, this particular knife just seems to be a cut above the rest.It feels better in my hand.It has a razor sharp blade (seriously).I liked this one so much more than all of the others, that I ordered 2 more. (One for my 25 year old son, and one for my 18 year old daughter)

Beautifully designed small knife, best second time around
Update. Now after trying some other knives in this price range. I have come back to the Civici because it is the best knife bar not for $30, which is the Amazon price for the black one. I can live with the back part of handle being a little small, I can choke up and use the first cutout of choil on the blace and it works nicely. Sometimes you don't know what you have, until you don't. In this case that is what I missed. The precision, the workmanship, everything. This is a great knife. Should never have doubted it the first time.First Review: Really nice knife, it looks great, the blade is nice and wide and seems larger than the handle. Don't know what magic Civivi does but all fits. But the handle is not for me. I would prefer it if the back part of the knife handle could be just a little thicker. I have small hands and it does not fit well to me. But many others like it, I think it is one of bestsellers. It is a beautifully crafted knife. The lock mechanism is perfect, as the rest of the knife. It just doesn't work for me. But it may work for you. Pay attention to the posted size, so you won't be surprised as I was. So it is going back.

Great True EDC Knife, Great Value.
An exceptionally good knife for the money. The build quality is excellent. The flipping action is smooth and fast. The liner lock is secure. I chose this knife for the blade steel; for low to moderately priced knifes, D2 steel is hard to find. It has excellent edge retention. My only complaint is that the knife did not arrive super sharp. However, after a few short passes on my Shapton 1000 grit stone (the very best stone for the money, IMO) followed by stropping with green compound produced an edge that was shaving sharp. I expect it to remain sharp for a long time. When it finally dulls, sharpening it again will be no biggie for me. Do yourself a favor and learn freehand sharpening techniques. For the money, I got a knife that is truly suited to EDC. I paid $30, but it is easily worth $50. Don't tell anyone.

buy it and one for your sibling
awesome knife. super sharp, very well made and no obvious play noted. It does have a frame lock which i was not sure about. the handle will be too short for large hands and maybe uncomfortable with full grip. I would buy again, maybe the black blade one. Haven't sharpened it yet, so i dont know how easy or hard that will be.
