Make sure you know which you need as these only go one way. I ordered a data port to hdmi first and it didn't work. So if your laptop only has a hdmi connection you need this one, a hdmi to data port not the other way round. Very good cable and works for me no issues.

This cable has a lot of positive reviews but unfortunately it didn't work for me. I have a PC running Windows 10 with HDMI video out, and wanted to connect to a monitor where the HDMI input was used by another PC. The picture was severely broken up especially in the bottom half of the screen, despite using an external power source for the USB. The breakup was very evident even in the BIOS Post screens and didn't improve when it booted into Windows. Maybe it is my PC or monitor, or some other issue, but no matter what I tried it just wouldn't work. Returned it for a refund so no real issue.

Since home-working became 60% of my work life I’ve created a mini office with a 2k screen. This has my PS5 and work laptop attached. I was using a single HDMI cable and swapping it each day as the monitor only had one HDMI port. Luckily it has a Display Port too which I can now use. This cable takes up one USB A slot and the HDMI slot on the PS5 and plug into the monitors DP. It appears to run at the same resolutions and just as well as it did on HDMI. The cable is great quality with that braided feel. For this use purpose it’s spot on.

This cable works perfectly to achieve 1440p @ 120 hz. Your monitor needs to support freesync and turn variable refresh rate off in xbox settings if you experience display flickering.

Plug and play. Works straight from the box - I'm having few other adapters of this brand and never had any issues. For some reason it doesn't need USB power on my laptop. If I would be picky I would say the cable is a bit on the stiff side, but still manageable.

PC:ディスプレイポート -> ディスプレイ:ディスプレイポート 上記だと、Win11環境下だと、1秒ほどブラックアウトする現象がどうしても解消できず HDMI接続に切り替えました。（こちらだと問題なし） ディスプイ側のディスプレイポートが開いたので PS5:HDMI -> ディスプレイ:ディスプレイポート の接続使用目的で、いろいろ探したのですが どれも高価で、うまくいくかどうかわからないものにお金をかけるのが嫌だったので 比較的安価なこの商品を購入して、上記接続を試してみました。 結果、何の問題もなく使用できました！ ブラックアウトの不具合もなく、大満足です。 同じ現象でお悩みの方は、一度お試しあれ。
