I collect boxes. This one is now one of the best of my collection. I bought this for it's suggested purpose -- a stash box -- and it is perfect for that purpose. It is more than large enough for all manner of lighters, herb, pipe, etc. Even my glass honey straws fit in (diagonally). There's certainly room for more than that. But really, the thing that makes this box awesome is the fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. After all, a stash box isn't purely decorative. Quality craftsmanship is required, if it's to be used all the time. The latch is high quality and, when locked down, seals out odors. Part of the way this is accomplished is by the inner lip. I'm so impressed with the mitered corners, the lightweight but strong and sustainable bamboo, but especially the hinges. The hinges are well-made, sturdy, and designed to be used regularly. The box is designed to not fall over or flip back, even if the lid is open. LONG STORY SHORT: PROS: Very well made sturdy hinges and latch hinges close softly, no pinching fingers sustainable materials - bamboo Roomy, holds lot of stuff lid, latch, and inner lip keep odors in beautiful artwork discreet great price for quality work CONS: If it was even an inch bigger inside, you could put a Comcast remote in it. But you can't. Latch doesn't lock -- keep out of reach of children Trying really hard to think of any more cons, but I can't. I bought this box to hold my wallet, keys and other stuff from my pockets instead of it all landing on the counter or getting misplaced. This box is just the right size for the job and it is attractive. It is the second box that i tried for this purpose, and it is definitely an upgrade. There is nothing negative to say. I recommend it.

I appreciate the dimensions and the design. I just wish it could be offered in a medium brown color as advertised. It's more like a beige color. The interior dimensions measure about 4.6" x 6.9" x 2.4" high. (The height includes the carve-out in the lid.)

You won't be disappointed with this purchase. The box is very well made with a gold latch, but doesn't lock. I gave my two grown boys each one, filled with photos of their youth. They both enjoyed the sentiments. The carving on the lid is very well done.

The box has a great finish, smooth and well put together. The box closes perfectly aligned, with a solid (non-cheap) clasp that closes the box firmly. It actually has a decent capacity so that we can store things in our coffee table that we don't want our dog to get to, but we want to have close (small snacks, remote controls). All around a great box.

This keepsake box is gorgeous! I'm so happy with the product. The wood seems very solid, no scratches or dings in the finish. The tree of life on the front is well-designed and the gold lock and hinges seem to be very solid and will last a long time! Very satisfied with this product and the price! Thank you

I was looking for a wooden box to put my plastic weekly pill box in. I live in the tropics...humid and within a day the capsules get sticky. It keeps my pills dry. I keep a gel pack in there too to absorb moisture...not sure it's needed, but I happened to have one on hand. The box is awesome. Nice laser engraving of the tree of life. It's sturdy. Perfect for my needs.
