Brilliant little scanner and excellent value for money. Setup was quick and straightforward, plug it in, connect via Bluetooth, open the app and it works instantly. The interface is clear and easy to understand, even if you are not particularly technical, and the amount of information it provides is impressive for something so compact. The quick test feature is especially good. With one tap it runs through the main systems and gives you a clear overview of the car’s health in seconds, which is incredibly handy. I have attached a video of this feature because it really shows how fast and useful it is in real use. Reading and clearing fault codes is simple, live data is detailed, and the battery and voltage checks are a great bonus. For the price, this feels like a no brainer for any car owner. It has already given me peace of mind and saved a potential trip to the garage. Highly recommended.

i choose this full system scanner becuase I had an electric handbake fault code and the spanner icon on my Grandland. the unit shows fault codes on the handbrake but i just don't know how to clear them as the software is really complicated...

XTOOL scanners will save you time and money! It is almost impossible live without one with all the electronics in today's cars. I now have the XTOOL D8BT, AD10, and the AD20 pro and love them all! Just yesterday while leaving work, my son's battery light came on in his Camry, so he took out the D8BT scanner from his trunk and quickly learned his alternator was not working. He had enough time to get to a parts store, repair the car, and return the core. Earlier in the day, I received my AD20 pro and decided to check it out on my 2007 Toyota Sienna Van. It worked flawlessly! It scanned my entire vehicle and cleared my TPS light in the dashboard. You must scan a QR code on the instruction sheet to get started. It will take you about 10 minutes to follow the easy to understand steps. I have a new 5G phone and the highest speed internet Spectrum offers. Once you plug the dongle in the OBDII port under the dash and your vehicle communicates with your phone via Bluetooth, you will see a big difference between the AD10 and the AD20 pro. I was hoping the AD10 app would work on the AD20 pro, but you will see that there are so much more parameters and sensors that are tested with the AD20 pro, that it needs a whole new app. When the AD20 pro tests your vehicle, it is very fast! What is new and amazing and where Wi-Fi comes into play is that the AD20 pro will not just give you the trouble code, it will take you to a website that explains the code and even recommend videos that you can watch on your phone to solve your problem. There is live data where you can select all or only the sensors you want to watch. Most times you will look at fuel trims, rpm, MAF, O2 Sensors, and voltage. So you can monitor what you prefer. You can leave the dongle in the OBDII port to monitor your driving habits. This scanner can tell you if you are driving well. The only times I have problems with my XTOOL scanners is deciding which one to buy. It wasn't long after the XTOOL D7 scanner came out that the XTOOL D8 scanner came available. It was hard enough deciding between the D7 and the D8 because now the XTOOL D8BT came out. I decided to buy the D8BT and that was the best decision I made. My friend bought the other brand that I was considering, I tried it and I would have been disappointed. Getting back to my XTOOL AD20 pro, again I had a little problem deciding between the AD20 or the AD20 pro. I chose this AD20 pro, but I am confident that either or would be a good choice!

I cannot rave enough about this OBD2 scanner. It’s like carrying a mechanic in your pocket. Plug it in, open the app, and in seconds you get a complete health check of your car. Fault codes? Found them. Performance test? Done. Smog check and oil reset? Easy. I went from clueless about what my engine light meant to actually knowing exactly what was wrong and saving myself a pricey trip to the garage. The wireless connection is seamless, the app is slick and user-friendly, and the detail it gives is just insane for something so compact. Honestly, it’s fun to use like unlocking a secret dashboard of your car. Free updates mean it’ll only get smarter over time. If you own a car and don’t have this, you’re missing out. Total game-changer. Buy it, thank yourself later.

Horrible stay away , yes it scans and it has a deep scan future which is quite nice but is horrible if you try to connect to another car it won’t let me pair to it at all

The scanner does very well. I have a fussy Audi and I couldn't get it to run an in-depth scan in my car but I'm sure it's the car. I asked for and received help but it didn't work. The scanner is good though and picked up several faults.

It's easy to use, though not being a motor mechanic it probably does more than I've used it for. I bought it because a warning light came on and the Haynes manual stated that this particular light is sometimes triggered accidentally, often after a flat battery. It told me to use an OBD2 device to reset the component and then watch to see if it came back on. My local garage would charge me £70 to do the reset and this OBD2 device cost approximately £35. It worked and the warning light has stayed off. I have also monitored my fuel consumption.

This is the best bang for your buck. The pairing process is very simple, and the app works great, no bugs or glitches. It has many great features for DIYers and has saved me a lot in mechanics by giving me an ideia of what could be wrong through the trouble codes. It is intuitive, practical and quick. One of my best tools for sure.

Possiedo una Opel Mokka X del 2018 che, ahimè, è nata male: da tre anni presenta errori motore sempre più frequenti. Alcuni li ho risolti sostituendo parti soggette a usura (candele GPL e benzina, filtro GPL, ecc.), altri, per via dell’alto costo dei ricambi, sono rimasti irrisolti e ogni tot mesi ricompaiono casualmente. L’ho acquistato perché ero stanco di andare ogni volta dal meccanico per farmi dire l’errore e farmi azzerare la spia, che oltre a essere fastidiosa in certi casi provoca veri malfunzionamenti se non resettata. Ordinato ieri con un ottimo 30% di sconto (da 60 € a 42 €) e arrivato oggi, l’ho subito messo alla prova. Installazione e utilizzo sono semplicissimi: Come installare l’app su iOS Collegare l’XTOOL AD20 Pro alla porta OBD2 dell’auto (di solito sotto al volante). Accendere il quadro o il motore. Sul proprio iPhone aprire l’App Store e cercare “Advancer AD20”. Scaricare e installare l’app ufficiale (gratuita). Attivare il Bluetooth dell’iPhone. Aprire l’app, creare un account (serve solo email e password) e accettare i permessi richiesti. Seguire la procedura guidata per collegare il dongle (l’app rileva automaticamente il dispositivo). Come si usa Una volta collegato, nella schermata principale dell’app selezionare “Diagnosi completa” per analizzare tutti i sistemi dell’auto. Attendere il completamento della scansione: in pochi secondi appaiono tutti i codici errore, con spiegazione chiara in italiano (traduzione a volte approssimativa, ma comprensibile). Toccando ogni codice, si accede a una descrizione dettagliata e a possibili cause. Con un solo tap su “Cancella” è possibile azzerare gli errori (dove consentito). Nella sezione “Dati in tempo reale” si possono monitorare parametri come giri motore, temperatura liquido, pressione collettore, tensione batteria, ecc. Ich hatte mich für das XTOOL AD20 Pro entschieden, weil die Preis/Leistung hervorragend ist. Im Gegensatz zu manch Konkurrenzprodukt gibt es keine fortlaufenden Kosten. Auch die kostenlosen Updates für aktuelle und zukünftige Autos waren ein Kaufgrund. Ich hatte einen Ölwechsel gemacht und die Bremse hinten erneuert. Die Parkbremse an meinem BMW zurückzufahren ging auf Knopfdruck. Falls man dies nicht macht und den Bremskolben mit Kraft zurück drückt(wie an der Vorderachse), geht er kaputt. Nach dem Wechsel konnte ich den Service zurücksetzen. Die App, für mich war's Android, ließ sich leicht und stabil mittels Bluetooth mit dem OBD2 Stecker verbinden und warf keine Fragen auf. Alles war leicht verständlich und intuitiv bedienbar. Ich empfehle es allen Hobbyschraubern die Wartung selbst machen wollen und natürlich jene die Wissen wollen was sich hinter der Warnlampe wirklich versteckt. Absolut verdiente 5-Sterne.

> Utilisé sur ma Mercedes A220, le XTOOL AD20 Pro a très bien fonctionné. La connexion Bluetooth s’est faite rapidement avec mon smartphone et l’application est simple à prendre en main. J’ai pu lire les codes défaut, les effacer après réparation et suivre les données moteur en temps réel sans difficulté. Très pratique pour vérifier l’état des injecteurs, du FAP ou de la batterie sans passer par le garage. Le boîtier est compact, je le laisse dans la voiture au cas où. Franchement, pour le prix, c’est un outil fiable et efficace que je recommande.
