I loved reading this. This was incredible. I am very selective on what I review and this is worth reviewing.

This volume collects issues #16-20 of the Rebirthed series. This time the stories, as far as I can tell, take up the full length of the comic, so no back-ups or short stories to slow things down.This is pretty much an all-action volume, with the team, now containing Zod, going up against The People and their Annihilation Brigade again, only to discover (yet another) a traitor in their midst, before Zod goes (back to being) rogue, and the new Superman Revenge Squad comes looking for him, but for what purpose you’ll have to find out for yourselves, unless you have read the latest volume of Action Comics.This is another fast-paced headline story bringing the rather frantic opening storyline to a close, though there is a more character-driven last issue in which the surviving team-members get some down-time and character-development as the team prepares for the second round of their fight with the People.It is, as always, well-scripted, and the four artists manage to avoid any stylistic clashes and provide excellent artwork.

Of the DC Rebirth titles I’ve been reading in collected format the Suicide Squad seems to be the most easily accessible. Perhaps that’s because the backlog of material is not as easily recalled as that of Batman or Superman. Or maybe it’s just being handled better.This time around Amanda Waller adds a new member that might be considered a mistake. General Zod, the fellow Kryptonian and arch enemy of Superman, who is now in custody. As the book opens prior to adding him to the team she sends them into Lex Luthor’s vault to extract enough kryptonite to use as the bomb she implants in Zod.As the book progresses we find there is a yin and yang situation, an evil force employing the same methods of Waller implanting bombs inside various metahumans to force them to become a sort of anti-Suicide Squad. Put together by the Annihilation Brigade with the help of Zod they are beaten. But Zod has plans of his own and being the puppet of Amanda Waller is not one of them. Both the Eradicator and Cyborg Superman are involved as the story moves forward but I won’t go into detail on what happens to avoid a spoiler situation.The book is well drawn and well written with a plot that equals that of past Suicide Squad stories. As I said perhaps it’s because the history of the Squad is less filled out and their popularity more recent that this one works where others are not. It’s nice to know that for fans there is something here they can enjoy and for those coming into the story cold you’ll find it entertaining as well.

Quite an epic volume in the series. With a kryptonite bomb implanted in his brain Zod is awakened and forced to join the Suicide League. He's a good fighter to have on your side but he's no team member and he becomes a problem for Waller. The team with Zod is sent after The People and meet up with their Russian counterparts. One team member dies and leadership changes hands. I really enjoyed the Russian meta-humans; they were a lot of fun. Great story with lots of action and an ending that leaves you excited for the next volume.

Ita great for suicide squad fans to get into. I'd suggest this book.

Great price and fast delivery

A fantastic fast pace action packed graphic novel. Unpredictable and unexpected story by Rob Williams and godsmacking amazing artworks by Tony S. Daniel, a must have for old and new DC fan readers but not for the faint of heart.
