Hozelock Mini Auto Reel Hose Pipe

1-Use a Hozelock non return connector on tap end . 2-On first use pull the hosepipe right out of the hosereel and lock it with lever. 3-Turn the tap on and fill the hosepipe with water and operate spray gun to let air out and then close spray gun. 4- unlock the hosereel with lever and allow the hose to retract to the stop. 5- Follow these instructions and the hosereel will operate smothly and not kink.

Arrived fast .well packaged. Easy to fit looks great on wall not too big or bulky compact and neat looking. Works a treat auto rewind amazing be careful and walk it back to rewind It’s locks at any length required just a simple tug at length and it locks I have mine next to tap so convenient for watering plants . Washing down garden and all round 100% happy with my purchase . I’d certainly recommend this seller and products

Wall fixings are difficult to make. Its necessary to be very accurate in positioning the holes for the attachment screws. There is no play in the fixing holes so in my case I could not insert the 4th screw fully. However the attachment seems to be sound and has not given any concern. The unit design is good and there were no leaks when the water was turned on. Hose pulls out well and retracts properly but the ratchet that holds the hose in the extended position does not function well. I have found it difficult to make it work and have to pull out a few feet several times before the hose stays out in the extended position. Worth 4 stars overall.

I live in the USA in northern California. I was wanted a hozelock product because a friend of mine has one and swears it outshines the other auto reel hose devices on the market. As I was looking for the item I learned, to my dismay, that they are no longer sold in the US. I checked Amazon (USA) and other outlets and found nothing available. I finally checked the Hozelock website and learned that they are manufactured and sold in the UK and are, in fact, no longer sold in the US due to some licnensing issue that I could not make sense of. An email communication with the Hozelock folks led me to Amazon.co.uk where I easily found the item I was looking for. I have purchased from Amazon UK before but nothing as big as a retractable hose reel. i found that the price was very reasonable and was surprised to learn that the shipping cost were so reasonable that it was not a deterrent to ordering something from another country. The item arrived within 6 days of my order. I am very pleased with the Hoselock product and am thinking about purchasing a second one. I love the global access that Amazon customers can utilize.

The hose on the reel is of a smaller diameter than a standanrd hose, or the hose given to connect to the tap. This will adversley affect the pressure of my lawn sprinkler (the hose will be conncted to a longer Hozelock hose which has a larger diameter) and add considerable time onto watering the lawn. THIS WAS NOT MENTIONED IN ANY OF THE SALES INFORMATION. I expect Hozelock to be of the highest quality, this product is not. When the hose retracts onto the reel the whole product feels cheap and does not load back onto the reel evenly, as others I have had. If I had seen this on display in a shop, I would not have purchased. This is my first negative review on Amazon.

Es exactamente lo que necesitaba. Quería una manguera enrollable que ocupara lo mínimo posible. Además necesitaba que fuera totalmente cerrada, ya que otras similares que he tenido el Sol ha terminado por comerse la manguera y el soporte. Viendo la foto parece más grande de lo que es, acostumbrado a ver este tipo de soportes con mangueras de mas sección y de más metros. La sección de la manguera es mas fino de lo normal, pensé que podría sufrir de baja presión de agua, pero ni mucho menos es exactamente igual o incluso mejor que las de sección mas grande si tienes una presión de agua justa en casa como es mi caso. Gracias a esto también ahorramos volumen total del recogedor Los plásticos se ven de mucha calidad, espero que soporte el Sol durante muchos años. El sistema de enrollado perfecto, no necesita decir más. Viene co todo lo necesario, incluidos los tornillos para colocarlo en la pared.
