West Blvd Basic Casual Fold Over Women's Full Length Long Maxi Skirt

I read the other reviews but what they, and tried this skirt. I was looking for a long, pretty straight black skirt to wear with and evening dressy jacket. I believe it will work OK, though its a little casual. But I want to comment that yes, the material is rather thin. Its spring or summer weight material and not fall or winter weight material. In my case I plan to wear leggings under it anyway, so the thin material doesn't bother me that much. The length does bother me a bit though. I'm 5'3' and 115lbs - I got a medium to hoping to try to get a little longer length. Didn't work. The medium is a bit big around the waist, but I expected that and will alter it, but the length is just barely OK, within an inch of the floor if I put it all the way down, not folding the waist, and wearing it hipster style (below my waist) and flat shoes. I'm a bit disappointed with the length,I'd hoped it would easily be floor length, but for the price, I can deal with it.

This skirt is very pretty, but I'm 5'9 so it's not quite a maxi on me. It comes just to the top of my booties. That's cool. Those kicks are cute so I don't mind showin' them off. ;) The skirt is also really thin so I wore it over black leggings. Overall I like it and I won't go thru the hassle of returning it, but I wouldn't have bought this particular one if I had known those things beforehand.

My daughter is very tiny in the waist and has the worldest skinniest thighs, which this maxi looks great on. I love the color it is a little more duller than the image, but it was still beautiful!
