Shopping List Booster Pack - Fruit & Veg

For those of you with special needs or typical kids..this shopping game is great. This goes with the original shopping list game. the cards are sturdy and easy to read..great for a wide age range. If I had one comment.. the boxes should be better made to open and close repeatedly. All of the boxes from this game are hard to open and they dont last. BUT..the game is great!

Just as expected. The description states there are 2 lists and 2 carts. It was perfect. I love it. I expect booster packs to be just an add on or it would be the actual game. Just read the description. It's wonderful. I'm glad I have it to add to my original shopping list game. I plan to get more booster packs. You can also just purchase another game and use them all together. We now have 6 shopping carts to choose from and it is a little more challenging for my 4 year old. He loves this game.

I bought this for my 6 year old granddaughter and it was a huge hit! I also bought one of the expansion packs to add to this game and I'm really glad I did. She has played it over and over with lots of different family members and even with her barbies!! LOL From a teacher's view, this game is an excellent tool to engage your child in fun as they practice and learn useful skills and gain knowledge.

Contains two shopping carts, two shopping lists, and 16 produce cards. The produce cards depict: pears, potatoes, raspberries, leek, blueberries, onions, mellow, broccoli, peas, cherries, baby sweetcorn, kiwi fruit, grapes, pineapple, asparagus, and cauliflower. Pros: Contains additional fruits and veggies. Shopping carts are additional colors from original game so you don't get duplicates. The names of the foods are the same in the USA as in the UK. I can use the tiles for a lot of educational purposes that have nothing to do with the game. Cons: The shopping lists only have fruit and veggies so it makes them feel a tad odd if include in the original game. Need more than 2 shopping lists for it to function as a game on its own. There was a lot of other healthy grocery items like yogurt that could have been included to make it a 4 shopping list game. Overall, its a bit expensive given the feel of being half a game. But, I really wanted all those wonderful food tiles to use for lots of other purposes including separating by food group, feeding the monster dexterity game, meal planning, learning words for common objects, etc. Just so much you can teach with these tiles. NOTE: A new updated version was released. My review pertains the version before 2015.

Love that there's the option to add another two carts to the original shopping list game. My kids love shopping list, and the really nice thing about the booster pack is that the two kids (ages 3 & 2) can play the booster set only (2 lists, 2 shopping carts, 16 items) and almost every card picked goes into one or the other kid's cart. They love it, and its easy for young kids to play, and I definitely recommend it. Only con is that with small kids sometimes the 16 food item pieces go flying and we just hope we get them all back in the box.

I'm a speech therapist, and purchased this extras pack to work on clothing vocabulary with my preschoolers (since they love the original grocery version so much)! The pieces are nice and sturdy, and the game itself keeps the kids engaged!

Great way to teach healthy food choice for young children as well as fun

This was a terrific addition to the game. Allows for more players or just mixing up the lists everyone can pick from. Totally awesome.

Dies ist ein simples aber gutes englisches Spiel mit vielen Spielvarianten zum Englischlernen für 4-sogar 9-jährige. Meine Kids lieben dieses Spiel; viele eindeutige bunte Bilder von Früchten und Gemüsen - die shopping lists benennen die Ware auf englisch. Durante il periodo natalizio, navigando nella sezione giocattoli ho scoperto questa bellissima serie di giochi da tavolo adatti anche per i bimbi più piccini. Le mie figlie di 3 e 4 anni hanno apprezzato molto il gioco. Materiale di ottima qualità, all' interno sono presenti le istruzioni in italiano, le regole del gioco sono di facile comprensione. Perfetto per un primo approccio con la lingua inglese, impari cose nuove giocando. Ho comprato diversi giochi di orchard toys da regalare agli amichetti.

Great expansion pack for an excellent toy my child plays with option. Now we can include more players!

le principe est simple et ludique.Une liste de course en anglais , un caddie, et des articles. Le but apprendre du vocabulaire usuel anglais tout en s'amusant. je conseille aux enfants dont les parents ont des notions d'anglais car il faut quand même connaitre la prononciation des mots. ma fille de 4 ans aime bien ce jeu. idéal si vous n'avez que quelques minutes pour jouer (15mn). Les couleurs sont chatoyantes et les mots simples.
