Big bag and I love it. Got a smaller bag from another place for a higher price.

I couldn't find instructions for preparation on the package, so I soak the hominy overnight and then simmer it in stock or water until it became tender enough to eat, like with dried peas. I then use it as an ingredient in burritos and as a side dish. It is not whole pieces of corn, but rather chopped pieces that are similar in size to chickpeas when cooked. The flavour is very mild, so you can use it like couscous or quinoa as a carb to go with stews and casseroles I also plan to use it to make chicken posole at some point. It's an interesting ingredient if you are bored with pasta and rice etc.

My husband was so happy we found it online! Now he cooks pozole all the time. Great value!

Is white but there is horrible smell really bad when you soaked it the smell is so bad when I make it as porridge I can't eat it wasting of money. I will not recommend it. It smell so 👎
