Effective and Innovative Hair Styling Tool
This straightener offers a unique design that combines drying and straightening in one step, which is a convenient time-saver. The airflow system provides a gentle approach to styling, helping reduce damage while still delivering smooth results. It works well for wet-to-dry styling and feels less harsh on the hair compared to traditional hot plates. The temperature regulation is consistent, preventing overheating and protecting the hair’s natural shine. Features like the lock function and auto-pause add convenience and safety during use. The LCD screen is clear and easy to read, making it simple to adjust settings as needed. While it’s a bit different from standard straighteners, it performs well once you get used to it. For those who prioritize hair health and efficiency, this is a solid option worth considering.

Only Hair Tool You’ll Need
If you typically straighten your hair, this tool is a game changer. For reference, I have long, curly hair that is thick and fine. I normally let my hair air dry overnight and use a flat iron in the morning to straighten. It takes so much time, I usually hate hair day. With this tool, I was able to go from wet hair to completely dry and straight in 30 minutes. It is absolutely amazing! Using a traditional hair dryer and straighter, it normally takes me at minimum 1 hour, to do that all at one time. It’s important to read the directions as they provide styling tips and give more detail on all the functions. More than enough power and heat to get the job done. Left my hair feeling so soft and shiny, no damage. So excited to keep using this tool as hair day just got easier and way more fun!I have used the Shark Flex Style to try and straighten my hair and the Dyson is much better. It is definitely lighter to hold and took less passes on my hair to get it straight and dry from wet. The Dyson only took 2 passes per section of hair where the Shark Flex Style took 4-5 passes. Also, the sound pitch and noise level on the Dyson seems quieter than the Shark Flex Style, as it has a weird high pitch sound when compared to the Dyson. The auto sensing on the Dyson is a very nice feature as well that the Shark Flex Style lacks. All in all, if straightening is your go to style, this tool is worth every penny!

AMAZING
TL:DR - my wavy/curly hair typically takes 45 min - 1 hour to straighten. I used the air straight and it took 17 and a half minutes to go from wet hair to dry and straight. It also worked on dry waves/curls to dry straight.Easy to use. Highly recommend.I honestly was a little skeptical about this when I first decided to try it. I have wavy/curly hair and it takes FOREVER to straighten it.Blow drying takes a long time for me, and I honestly lack the brush/hand/eye coordination to do a great job. So basically I have to dry my hair and then go over it with a flat iron.I have tried multiple tools that are blow dry brushes to try to get my hair from wet to dry/straight and most of them do nothing but create frizz. Even after finding one that semi-worked, I still had to spend time going over my hair with a flat iron to get it straight and not frizzy. This whole process would typically take me a minimum of 45 min, but usually closer to an hour.I had read reviews about the Dyson air straight greatly reducing that time and it being super easy to use. I decided to try it and assumed that even if it did get my hair close to straight, I would still need to go over it with a flat iron. I was hoping this would just drastically cut down the overall time it took. The first time I tried it my hair was dry and curly. I had some free time and decided to see how the air straight would do in this capacity. I figured, since it was using air, it wouldn’t be the best at going from dry-curly to dry- straight. I was wrong. Within what seemed to be about 15 minutes my hair was straight!! I even quickly “set” it with the cool air setting. I was honestly astonished at how well this machine worked!!Then it was time for the real test. Would it be able to take my wet, out the shower hair, and straighten it quickly? I wasn’t sure. I watched the video in the Dyson app when I first opened it (I think it’s about 2 min long, nothing crazy) which explained how to use the tool to dry the roots before you start straightening. I decided to use the stopwatch function on my phone to see how long it actually took me to do my hair. I hit start on the timer and started straightening with the air straight. Most sections of my hair were dry and straight with ONE pass of the machine. This was honestly amazing because using a flat iron typically takes several. Some areas needed two passes, but this was still so much better and quicker than anything else I’ve used. Plus it was my first time doing it so I’m sure there is a learning curve. When my hair looked done I went over it with the cool setting to “set” the style and hit stop on my phone. It took me 17 min and 29 seconds to go from wet waves/curls to dry straight hair.I am honestly amazed and will never be able to straighten my hair any other way.

Amazing for straightening curly hair
I have curly hair and have always hated that I have to blow dry my hair or wait to air dry before using a flat iron. Getting my hair from my natural to straight used to take me 2-3 hours. I can now have my hair from fully wet to dry and straight in about 20 minutes. And when I want refresh it after it’s already straight it’s more like 5-10 minutes. It’s a game changer!!! It also works SO WELL if you want to straighten your hair while it’s already dry. I was genuinely shocked because I was under the impression that for it to work well your hair had to be wet but that is not the case. I can use this on wet or dry hair and get the same result. Also the shine and volume I’m able to achieve using this is incredible. I also love that this is not a flat iron, just a really cool blow dryer. I have super fine hair that breaks VERY easily and since I started using this in place of a flat iron I’ve noticed significantly less breakage. I know the heat is still damaging but I use a good heat protectant and my ends are visibly less damaged than they were 6 months ago when I was using a flat iron 1-3 times a week.I know you can technically achieve the same results with a round brush and hair dryer but that takes skill and practice. I’ve never been able to achieve sleek straight hair with just blow dryer and round brush. It always comes out frizzy and poofy and I end up having to follow up with a flat iron. Which takes forever and it’s 2 rounds of heat styling which is horrible for your hair.I am obsessed with the air straight and if you love having straight hair you should ditch your flat iron and get this. Your hair will thank you and you will save so much time.
